Multi-media artist Pepi Ginsberg (Pepi Ginsberg, Companion) and Composer/Producer Martin Crane (Brazos, Martin Crane) have teamed up to create a lush debut under the moniker N-A-R-C (named for Ginsberg’s wink-and-nod handle, NewAgeRealChange).

Dead & Company Set All-Time Attendance Record for Wrigley Field

DEAD & COMPANY wrapped its 2017 summer tour with two sold-out concerts at Wrigley Field in Chicago (June 30 & July 1), setting the all-time record for most paid tickets for a single concert at the ballpark and drawing more than 80,000 fans across both shows.

The 2017 tour (May 27 through July 1) drew in nearly 500,000 fans and consisted of 20 concerts, 10 of which were sold out shows, in 15 cities, including two-night stands at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Shoreline Amphitheatre in San Francisco, Folsom Field in Boulder, Colo., Fenway Park in Boston, and Wrigley Field.

Additionally, the Participation Row social action village, which joined the band at every stop on the tour, featured a rotating cast of 14 different non-profit organizations with direct ties to Dead & Company.

COLDPLAY RELEASE NEW SONG, ‘A L I E N S’

Coldplay have today unveiled a new song, A L I E N S, from their forthcoming Kaleidoscope EP.

A L I E N S was co-written by Brian Eno, and co-produced by Eno and Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons, Kings Of Leon). The song’s animated lyric video, directed by Diane Martel and Ben Jones, is available now.

Highly Sedated Announce Debut Album

Swedish electronica band Highly Sedated have announced the release of their debut album, ‘All We Have Is Now’. To celebrate the announcement, they have revealed the first single from their LP titled, ‘Highly Sedated’. The track is out today and the album is due for release on 28th July via Steve Angello’s SIZE Records.

Built around a male vocal, ‘Highly Sedated’ begins with airy chords and a driving bassline. The Suzan Announce New EP “Doki Doki Sounds”

Tokyo’s The Suzan dropped their first new song in more than four years last week when they released “Jungle Beat” on June 30th via the Swedish Artist Collective INGRID. They revealed the new tune with the help of BlackBook Mag the day prior, who noted the “modern-primitive rhythms, exuberant horn blasts and primordial chanting actually recall post-punk provocateurs like The Slits and Rip Rig + Panic.” Bjorn Yttling (Peter Bjorn and John, Chrissie Hynde, Primal Scream, Lykke Li) produced the latest music from the band, who he first discovered back in 2008 and has been working with ever since.

Next month, Icelandic death metal unit BENEATH will unleash their third full length, Ephemeris.
