Alan Getto Shares New Single “Change”

Inspired by paradoxical elements of life and examining his own transition into his current lifestyle, Getto finds a perfect balance between various dualities through his artistic expression. Having recently located to an unfinished farmhouse in Western Pennsylvania from Brooklyn, Versus presents Getto’s personal confrontation with his own ambivalence. The album intentionally plays with cliché oppositions such as nature vs. the city, good vs. the bad and male vs. female. One can’t exist without the other, and for anything to exist, there must be a degree of conflict: “the versus.”

Saintseneca Share New Video Via NPR

NPR’s All Songs Considered is premiering a video by Ohio band Saintseneca for their new track “Book of The Dead On Sale,” which Stereogum writes, “shows just how assured and steady the band has become over the years. It’s noxious and queasy and melts into a graceful harmony by the end.”

Fabian Secon & 5ive Beatz “Rockstar”

Fast-rising UK singer Fabian Secon and producer 5ive Beatz have announced their forthcoming joint EP, Until We Meet Again, set to be released 23rd June. The first taste of what to expect comes courtesy of “Rockstar”, a trap-infused R&B banger that showcases both artists’ greatest assets—Fabian’s richly soulful vocals and 5ive’s thumping bass-heavy beats.

Until We Meet Again is the follow-up to Fabian’s debut EP, Don’t Disturb, and sees the coming together of two artists from London who have both taken major strides over the past couple of years. Fabian was recently touted by Complex as an artist to watch in 2017 and has had support from a wealth of radio stations and industry tastemakers, such as Jamz Supernova and DJ Target at BBC Radio 1Xtra where “Sensei” (150,000 streams on YouTube) was given BBC Introducing Single Of The Week honours by MistaJam.

Stream the debut Lp form Greece’s Guitar-Pop Four-Piece Melt Mountain, Superfetish

Melt Mountain is one’s inner most angst, a gut feeling of a frivolous daily routine, a hopeless bus ride that’s only meant to show you how things may seem through a window as you swiftly pass by, with no intention of getting off. This has been the case since 2014 when they released their self-titled EP, carving up a musical landscape in a whimsical sense while also setting up intricate foundations with a narrative that most people can relate to.

“Superfetish” has explored more of the depths that the band was willing to go to. Lyrically it is very much influenced by urban culture, life and conduct, as complex and unforgiving as it gets. It navigates the recluse mind and the misunderstood personality. At the same time their music joins the dots between the abstract thought process captured in words with the same riffing mountain melting power that has come to define them.
