Statement from Stormzone management

Last week irish metalheads , Stormzone were shooting a new music video for a track from their latest album, “Seven Sins”. Acclaimed director Alex Perisson, responsible for many award winning videos from Europe’s top metal bands, had signed up to direct the video, in a concept that involved recording footage in a disused asylum, against the advice of local experts.

As far as we can ascertain, the band and entire production crew encountered some kind of problem during the shoot. We have not been able to contact anyone involved since the date of filming. The attached news report contains footage found at the scene, which some viewers might find distressing.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the band or crew should get in touch immediately.

Northern Ghost premieres their second single

We’ve all experienced the disappointment that can come as a result of a situation not living up to our expectations, or had to deal with being promised something only to have it not be fulfilled. Those are the kind of character builders that influenced Northern Ghost’s new single, “False Paradise,” off their debut record, ‘Happy : Sad : Depressed : Suicidal’. Vocalist Tony McVaney delivers with such intensity, that one can hear the emotion he puts into the lyrics. When asked to explain his intent, he shared, “False Paradise is about buying into empty promises and dealing with the realization that the outcome you were expecting from your labor and choices doesn’t happen, or worse, turns out to be the complete opposite.

Filmed in black and white, Clairmont bops around his neighborhood, sipping a forty and dropping by his old public school in the clip, as he recounts a chilling car crash that left Clairmont with a broken leg–a crash in the same spot the following week had fatal consequences. A dark disorienting clip, directed by Clairmont himself, complete with off-kilter closeups and reverse motion effects, “44 Me” is a brooding rumination on the ephemerality of life–one day you’re here…and then you’re gone.
