Edmondson’s music is music of a certain set of physical places—public plazas, flat highways, flashes of kudzu and palmettos. These places, however, are always depicted in flux: they are being walked through, driven on, viewed in flashes and blurs. The album is about these and other kinds of changes, especially those that prompt reflection upon childhood memories and grappling with whether your experiences were as good (or bad) at the time as you think they are now.

The band’s sound lies somewhere between that of the Adolescents, the Dead Boys, X-Ray Spex and Fugazi, with layers of guitar noise reminiscent of current bands like A Place to Bury Strangers, White Lung and METZ.
