JESUS PIECE PREMIERE “DENY REALITY”

Jesus Piece and Malice At The Palace are teaming up with Bridge Nine to release a new split EP on May 19th. Jesus Piece kick the split off with 2 brutally heavy and discordant metallic hardcore anthems. Malice At The Palace, fresh off an LP released by Six Feet Under, are back with 2 new songs continuing to prefect the 90’s hardcore sound they’re known for. The EP was mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit (Twitching Tongues, Nails) and mastered by Audiosiege (Nails, Obituary, Code Orange) and today, Jesus Piece have unveiled one of their contributions for the split, “Deny Reality”, which you can stream now courtesy of AltPress.

FAINITES “Battle Scars” EP

New U.K. based rock band FAINITES has just released their debut EP “Battle Scars”, with distribution in the U.S. via Gravel Entertainment. In conjunction with the release, the band has shared an official music video for its lead single entitled “Geraldine”. The polished piece of alternative rock blends gritty, guitar riffs with driving rhythms and yearning melodies in an impactful introduction to the band’s music.

Tuki Carter – “Make A Way”

Taylor Gang’s Tuki Carter combines his twin passions of music and tattoo artistry into a unique and compelling career. On “Make A Way,” his new single, Tuki reveals how he pulls off his two-way hustle, flashing a Big Boi-esque flow as he reflects on his responsibilities as a single father. Matthew Logan Vasquez Shares “Old Ways” Video Via Relix

Relix has shared the video for Matthew Logan Vasquez’s single “Old Ways”. The video also features Lili Hayes (who you can check out on Instagram @lili_hayes) and was directed by her son Kevin Hayes. Last Friday Consequence Of Sound streamed Matthew’s new album ‘Does What He Wants’. Prior to the “Old Ways” video Matthew released the video’s for “Red Fish” and “Same”. He also premiered the track “Headed West” on Clash. These songs will all be on his new album ‘Does What He Wants’ out 4/21 on Dine Alone Records.

VOMIT REMNANTS: Decibel Magazine Streams Hyper Groove Brutality From Japanese Death Metal Legion

Hyper Groove Brutality, the imminent new full-length from long-running Japanese brutal death metal maniacs VOMIT REMNANTS, will make its official decent upon the masses Friday, April 21st via Unique Leader Records.

The band’s first studio output in twelve years was produced by Darren Cesca (Arsis, Vile, Goratory) of House Of Grind Studios and features guest appearances by vocalist Henrik Cranz of Soils Of Fate, guitarist Craig Peters of Deeds Of Flesh and Destroying The Devoid, and guitarist Paul Masvidal of Cynic/ex-Death.

Stay Inside shares new single “Blockbussa”

The track premiered in an extensive piece on Atwood Magazine who said, “Stay Inside may not find all the answers they’re looking for in ‘Blockbussa,’ but the mere fact that they vocalized this issue and these feelings so well give this release profound substance and import. Illuminine announces ‘#2’ LP

With a goodbye to his past as a member of the Flemish noise-rock band Mosquito, Kevin Imbrechts awoke as Illuminine in the silence of the night a few years ago. ACES shares new single “Stranger”

THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA Release Animated Music Video for Brand New Song “Gemini”

Swedish classic/progressive rock supergroup THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA – featuring members of metal frontrunners Soilwork and Arch Enemy – have partnered up with Classic Rock UK to premiere the animated music video for the band’s brand new single, “Gemini”.

The video was created by Elia Cristofoli aka Solingo (www.facebook.com/eliasolingo), who has worked for companies like Volvo, Subaru and Canon in the past, and the compositors Francesco Mazzola and Andrea Vozzo of Peach Studio.

Starling releases new single ‘In The Dark’

Starling releases her new single ‘In The Dark’ on April 20th through Distiller Records. A song inspired by a particularly terrifying night in New York when her drink was spiked.

“I had a meeting in Brooklyn on the day I arrived in New York” she remembers. “And somewhere my drink got spiked, and the next day I wrote this song. I wasn’t hurt or anything but I was totally blown away by the fact my muscles went.”

Watch the video for ‘In The Dark’ directed by Director Paulo Berberan (VHS Productions) who has been Starling’s visual collaborator throughout the EP campaign. It’s as equally dark as it’s subject matter.

Ron Pope’s single “Let’s Get Stoned” premieres at Relix

The track is from Pope’s forthcoming record Work (his seventh studio album), which is due out August 18 via his own Brooklyn Basement Records.

Sonny Knight Cancels All Tour Dates, Continues Cancer Treatment

Last week Minneapolis-based soul singer, Sonny Knight, went to The Mayo Clinic to learn if the chemotherapy he started in March has been effective in treating cancer located in his lung, ribs, and spine. Thankfully, test results showed the cancer has shrunk. Because the treatment is working, Knight will continue receiving it. While this is great news in his fight against cancer, the 69-year old retired truck driver and his band are canceling all of the concerts on their books, almost 40 dates nationwide. In March the band was forced to cancel their tour dates through May, but it has become clear that Knight needs to take more time to get well before he will be road-ready. Because of the unpredictable nature of his treatment, they’ve decided to cancel everything and start booking again once Knight reaches sustained wellness.

Sonny had this to say, “I feel really bad about canceling my tour dates. I hate letting people down, but I need to take the time to fight this battle. My joy lies in music, and just because I’m not on stage doesn’t mean I won’t be creating music behind closed doors. My best work is still ahead of me. This is just a bump in the road. Thanks to everyone for all the love, support, and patience.”

Cinematic syth-pop artist BEL HAVEN releases new song ‘Could Be Love’

The LA-based multi-instrumentalist Dom Liberati combines classic sounds from iconic 80’s artists like The Police, Depeche Mode, and Peter Gabriel with today’s top vibers ala Tycho, Tame Impala, and M83 to name a few.
