YG Entertainment debut their new all female pop group BLACKPINK and release their new project SQUARE ONE. The project debuted as #1 on the iTunes Top Albums Chart, #1 across all domestic music charts in Korea and continues to top iTunes charts in several countries. It marks the newest girl group since the label’s massively popular 2NE1 and the new group is set to be the labels biggest force yet. With an average age of 19, the group is comprised of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa who sing and rap in both English and Korean, they have been rigorously training with YG for four to six years each honing their collective skills – the result is high caliber group of performers who take K-Pop to the next level. Their debut release SQUARE ONE features singles “Whistle” and “Boombayah” whose videos have amassed over 2.8 million views collectively and growing, which also showcase their impeccable showmanship and ability to churn out insatiable records blending elements of pop, rap and dance music.
