Infectious rock n’ roll quartet PARTYBABY have been steady on the rise for some time and today they’ve released a video for “I Don’t Wanna Wait” from their forthcoming EP. The band led by Noah Gersh and Jamie Schefman say this of the video: “We got a bit sick of people asking us why we were intentionally hiding our faces or not being in our videos. Our shows can get wild so we thought we’d address both issues as best we could, with bright shiny lights in our dumb sweaty faces. Also who doesn’t like to chase a feeling every once in a while.”

X AMBASSADORS DONATE PROCEEDS FROM MISSISSIPPI COAST COLISEUM CRAWFISH FESTIVAL SHOW TO UNITY MISSISSIPPI
Ahead of X Ambassadors’ April concert at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum Crawfish Festival in Biloxi Mississippi the band announced they would be donating the proceeds from the show to a local LGBT charity after the state signed into law HB 1523—the “Protecting Freedom of Conscience from Government Discrimination Act”— an “anti-LGBT bill” that would give legal cover to those who want to discriminate against people out of their religious belief.
X Ambassadors today made that donation to Unity Mississippi as news comes that a federal judge striking part of HB 1523 barring Mississippi from denying same-sex marriage licenses, meaning no circuit clerk or staff member clerk can deny a gay couple a marriage license even if House Bill 1523 is in effect.

Thirty years ago today, Madonna released her third studio album, True Blue, on Sire Records. One of the best-selling albums of all time, True Blue is RIAA-certified 7x platinum with seven million copies sold in the U.S. and an estimated 25 million copies sold worldwide. It was the world’s top-selling album in 1986, reaching No. 1 in a then record-breaking 28 countries around the world, as well as the best-selling album of the ’80s by a female artist. In the U.S., True Blue hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 on August 16th, 1986, and remained at No. 1 for five consecutive weeks, spending 82 weeks on the chart.
True Blue spawned five Top 5 singles, “True Blue,” “La Isla Bonita,” “Live to Tell,” “Papa Don’t Preach,” and “Open Your Heart,” the latter three all peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album also features fan favorite “Where’s the Party”.

Oslo duo Kappekoff have shared the video for their track “All Day Long” (directed by Christopher Stensli) on BULLETT. “We want people to dance like kids do, without hesitation, unfiltered” says singer Rasmus Thallaug of the video “The song is sunny, but the video shows Oslo by night. The video and song together feel as If the director of Drive hooked up with George Duke and had a little French Touch baby.” Previously, the track entered Spotify’s Global Viral 50 chart at #2 on Friday, April 8th.
