BODY CLOCKS “STILL LIFE”

Body Clocks reveal debut track “Still Life” as a free download.

Body Clocks are a new electronic duo from the southwest consisting of Joe Craven and Josef Kašpar. Their unique sound is created through layering and looping beats with ambient soundscapes, live double bass and guitar. Blues and classical influences are merged with experimental electronic elements, resulting in a truly immersive, yet danceable sound.

Recent performances include support slots with Doldrums, Phaeleh & Grasscut.

Body Clocks debut EP is currently being mixed at Dean Street Studios, Soho.

THE HIDING ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE

Melbourne indie electro-pop act The Hiding have today announced their new single, Karma My Life alongside an artistic, emotive video clip and several show dates kicking off in Bendigo at Rifle Brigade Hotel on April 29, moving through to Mynt Lounge (Werribee) on May 6 and finishing up at Revolver (Melb) on May 21.

JESSE REDWING ANNOUNCE NEW VIDEO

Jesse Redwing has come from humble beginnings having spent the last 3 years cutting his teeth at an underground jazz/blues club hidden away in Sydney’s Darlinghurst. With the help of Melbourne based producer Stephen Mowat (Ali Barter, WILSN), Jesse is in the process of recording an EP.

After releasing his debut single “Comin On” in late 2015, Jesse and his band “The Real MVPs” gained momentum by playing killer, packed out shows in and around their home town of Sydney, while also playing the support for Aussie legends, Cold Chisel, in front of 5,000 people at the picturesque Hunter Valley’s Hope Estate.

Guitarist John 5 today debuted the music video for his latest single, “Now Fear This.” Once again, he is collaborating with director/editor Matt Zane who previously worked on the “Making Monsters” video. The video coincides with the release of the single, now available on all digital outlets.

JEFF BECK ANNOUNCES NEW STUDIO ALBUM

Announced today, in conjunction with this summer’s U.S. tour, JEFF BECK will release a new studio album on July 15. This marks his first studio album since the Grammy® winning Emotion & Commotion in 2010. In addition, more U.S. Tour dates, co-headlining with the blues legend, BUDDY GUY (except where noted below) were also announced today.

As was previously announced, the duo will begin their joint tour on July 19th in Port Chester, NY, before hitting NYC, CT, NJ, PA, VA, MI. The tour will make a special stop at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL, on Sunday, July 31st, before heading to Nashville and then making the trek west to Los Angeles. As was previously announced, BECK will make a very special appearance at the Hollywood Bowl on August 10th to celebrate 50 years of ‘dynamic music making’.

‘LOST THEMES II’ STREAM IT AT NPR

With his new album ‘Lost Themes II’ streaming on NPR ahead of release next Friday, April 15th on Sacred Bones, John Carpenter has shared a new live studio video which the legendary filmmaker has directed himself.

CHRISTIAN ‘KING’ COMBS SIGNED TO BAD BOY ENTERTAINMENT/EPIC RECORDS

Gifted songwriter and rapper Christian Combs has signed an exclusive recording deal with Bad Boy Entertainment/Epic Records.

The signing was overseen by Epic Chairman and CEO LA Reid, and his long-time friend and musical partner, Grammy Award®-winning artist, producer, entrepreneur Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs aka Puff Daddy, Christian’s father and the founder of hip-hop’s iconic Bad Boy Entertainment.

In late-2015, Bad Boy signed an exclusive partnership agreement with Epic that includes distribution through Sony Music Entertainment. Since the deal, Puff Daddy has had a string of hits and just released his latest, ‘You Could Be My Lover” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Gizzle, from his critically-acclaimed album MMM (November 2015).

HATSUNE MIKU NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINING TOUR

Due to the demand of fans and the overflow of requests from promoters, the Hatsune Miku North American headlining tour has been extended and will now visit Chicago, Houston and Monterrey, Mexico. Additionally, two more concerts have been added in Mexico City after the first two shows sold out within days of its announcement.

This first of its kind tour will begin in Seattle, WA on April 23rd and will visit San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Toronto and New York. Electronic chiptunes band Anamaguchi is confirmed for the opening

OHANA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2016

This year marks the debut of Ohana- a two-day music festival at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA – featuring performances by Eddie Vedder, Lana Del Rey, Elvis Costello, Band Of Horses and tons more. Produced by Live Nation and SGE, the festival will take place on Saturday, August 27 and Sunday, August 28.

In addition to offering a full day in the sun with a diverse music lineup, Ohana will donate a portion of proceeds to the San Onofre Parks Foundation, a California non-profit that cooperatively works with the California State Parks to develop, preserve and enhance the recreation and experience of California’s unique and beautiful coastal parks.

THE LOOM NEW SINGLE

NYC’s The Loom is back after a nearly five-year hiatus, releasing their new album Here In The Deadlights on April 22nd via Crossbill Records/Stereocilia. Today, the band is sharing “I Am Not Young” (SoundCloud), the second single from the album, which follows the scorching lead single “Fire Makes” (SoundCloud), featuring a manic saxophone breakdown from Phantom Family Halo’s David Lackner. “I Am Not Young” is about rebuilding after a collapse, and the song structure even reflects that, starting out with a long blissful intro, and quickly building into a churning psych-rock track.

Sunflower Dead, the infectious active rock band from Long Beach, CA, will be hitting the road this spring and summer to support its second effort It’s Time To Get Weird. Last week on Clash, Joon Moon shared their cover of Radiohead’s ‘I Might Be Wrong’ off their EP Call Me which came out April 1, 2016 on Kwaidan Records / !K7.

Joon Moon’s story started in 2014 in Montmartre, Paris, in the studio of the excessively discreet Julien Decoret – with Phoebe Killdeer giving breath to his first lyric sheets. P!NK IS SET FOR AN APRIL 15th RELEASE OF HER NEW SINGLE

International pop icon P!nk is set to release “Just Like Fire” from Walt Disney Studios’ upcoming feature film Alice Through The Looking Glass on April 15th at all digital providers via RCA Records/Walt Disney Records. The track, which is the first single from P!nk in 3 years, will impact at radio on April 18th and a music video directed by Dave Meyers will debut in early May.

“Just Like Fire” was co-written by P!nk, Max Martin, Shellback and Oscar Holter and produced by Martin, Shellback and Holter specifically for the film. DON HENLEY TO TOUR EUROPE AND NORTH AMERICA IN SUMMER 2016

Don Henley will tour Europe and North America this summer beginning 20 June in Stockholm, Sweden at Ericsson Globe, with dates scheduled through September 21 in Brooklyn, New York at The Amphitheater at Coney Island. A special performance with Carole King on Sunday, 3 July at BST Hyde Park in London was announced in March. The artist will perform songs spanning his entire career from the Eagles and his vast solo catalog, including songs from his latest release, Cass County.
