Taking on such an iconic song was no easy feat but Jennifer wanted to cover a song by a female artist, who like Hope, is more involved in the writing process and composes her own songs on the piano. Jennifer chose not to alter her version significantly, rather adding some aspects typical of her unconventional style; a descending modulation, an atmospheric sound combined with dark, edgy elements and a mix of ethereal and alternative rock vocals. The result is a mid tempo, dynamic track with bass and drum driven choruses and an interpretive array of vocal intrigue.
