MARCA X H&R BLOCK CAMPAIGN

Wisin, one of Latin-urban music’s hottest talents, is the star of a new campaign that H&R Block is using to kick off this year’s tax refund season with a bang. The spot announces an early-season promotion during which 1,000 people will win $1,000 a day from now through February 15, the equivalent of $1 million a day for the first month of the tax refund season.

For the new campaign, created by H&R Block’s Miami-based agency of record MARCA, Wisin re-recorded his hit song Piquete. In this special version of the song, now called Billete (money), the Latin music star encourages U.S. Latinos to file their taxes early and visit H&R Block offices for a chance at the daily drawing.

DEEP THROATS SHARE TITLE TRACK VIA IMPOSE

Bay Area trio Deep Throats have announced their final record Good Bad Pretty, which after 15 years of being completed, will finally see an official release on February 26th via Castle Face Records. The album was recorded in the Mission District of San Francisco at the Starcleaner warehouse, a prominent punk hub previously run by Shellshag’s Jennifer Shagawat. After years performing independently in other bands both in Australia and overseas, Figures unexpectedly came together at the start of 2014 after navigating the unusual and painstaking world of Melband. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, cynicism was at all-time high trawling through music classifieds, but in this case they struck it lucky. After a short but fast whirlwind of auditions, jams, line up changes and rehearsals, the core members found a strong mutual bond and realisation that they had something that worked. TERROR EMPIRE “STRINGS OF REBELLION” LYRIC VIDEO

Portuguese modern thrashers Terror Empire have just released the lyric video for Strings of Rebellion. Animated by Miguel Miranda, the song is from the album “The Empire Strikes Black”, released in 2015 by Nordavind Records.

The vocalist Ricardo Martins, who wrote the lyrics, is directed “to all of us, it’s time for subversion. SEVENTH NEW ALBUM

Seventh is a post-metal band from Venice, Italy. In 2015, they recorded their first full-length and concept album “The Herald” which will be released in early 2016. The Album has been recorded and produced by SEVENTH, Cesco (drummer from ZEIT, italian hardcore band) and Pablo at Putrefashion Studios and it has been mastered by “Peo” Spigato at Hate Studio, Rosà (VI). “The Herald” has been written, produced and recorded by former members Max and Tum, who worked together with producer Pablo Davilla in order to create a concept album which focuses on the utmost importance of being a conscious man in a world of cultural and religion absurdities. The album represents the allegorical journey of an ordinary man, who struggles to get rid of restrictions of any kind. His journey begins where his enlightenment as a free human being begins.
