BLACK YO)))GA NEW SINGLE
Asanas Ritual, Vol. 1 is the forthcoming new full-length composed and performed by the BLACK YO)))GA Meditation Ensemble, an eclectic group of metallic hippies and doomlords, headed up by BLACK YO)))GA founders, 200-hour RYT-certified instructor, Kimee Massie and her husband Scott Massie.
BLACK YO)))GA — vinyasa style yoga set to drone, noise, stoner metal, ambient, industrial, space doom, and other traditional meditation music — incorporates basic poses in a relaxed environment, while focusing on safe body mechanics. It’s a traditional yoga class in practice, however darker than what you may typically associate with the practice in the Western world. Since its 2012 inception, the music for classes has been a series of mix tapes… until now.

MADEAUX NEW EP STREAM
Madeaux makes his Fool’s Gold debut with the perfectly-titled New Wav EP, reshaping North American dance music in his own image and injecting a needed dose of synth pop realness in the process. The six EP tracks are a wildly diverse bunch, connecting the dots between decades of inspirations. “Kill For Me” bangs like a lost Depeche Mode anthem, while A-Trak collab “Lost In Translation” is the unexpected warehouse jam of the year. Nowhere are these genre-splices more powerful than on New Wav’s title track, where Madeaux flips Kaleena Zanders’ postmodern diva vocals over high-NRG synths and a Miami bass-gone-Berlin drop. The tide is high for this one, and the future most definitely belongs to Madeaux.

IYAZ has released the lyric video for “Alive” featuring Nash of Hot Chelle Rae and has announced that he’ll be performing the track for the first time on The TODAY Show, September 28th. CICADA RHYTHM NEW SINGLE
Four years later, Cicada Rhythm’s selftitled album meanders through folk, rock, Americana, and further afield, but this shared sense of what makes music powerful binds all of the songs together. At the center of their appeal is the mystery of how the interplay between two different sounds – whether it be the spirited fingerpicking of guitar dancing over the rising swell of the bass, or their voices layering into sweet harmony – fills the space in between with meaning. In Cicada Rhythm, this space is explored with a fervent intensity that is belied by the effortless elegance of the arrangements.
