TRAE THE TRUTH “DETERMINED”
A gloomy Paris day serves as the setting to H-Town legend Trae Tha Truth’s introspective album cut, “Determined.” Directed by Phillyflyboy, the Eiffel Tower soars in the background, lighting up the gray skies as Trae reflects on challenges that’ve thrown his life off track while sustaining a hustle that’s kept him intact. “Trae puts his typically complex emotions on display in the European capital,” noted Rap-Up, while Global Grind added that he “spits some heavy bars that will inspire fans to put his album back on repeat.” A prime example of the versatility and depth that Trae presents on Tha Truth, “Determined” delves deep into the veteran emcee’s life, as he reflects on his own children: “Neeko is getting older, walking, talking, and laughing, and talking shit at the same time, funny how time is passing/ Lil Jared is fly as a hawk, I know them girls gonna be in trouble you can tell when he talk, it ain’t a game/ baby Houston is a star I can feel it, give him a year I swear he’s gonna be as hot as a skillet.”

WILLIS EARL BEAL ALBUM STREAM
Willis Earl Beal was born on the South Side of Chicago. He would never consider it home. An odd kid, he spent a lot of his youth talking with his grandmother, who would entertain his endless questions about the universe and encourage his love of drawing. He developed an obsession with Batman that would last well into his teenage years, when he enlisted in the U.S. Army as a form of vigilante training.

ORYX & CRAKE NEW VIDEO
“The video for “The World Will Take Care of Me” was made by The Green Room ATL in coordination with re:imagine/ATL and MASS collective. Many of the kids involved with the camp were from non-profits who serve kids abused/neglected and for those who help kids with mental health issues.
They came up with the concept that a homeless “Robin Hood” kid isn’t seen by others but is seen by the other homeless. And the world provides for him. Sort of. The concept is particularly crazy because it is the life that many of the kids in the video have actually lived.
PROF RELEASES NEW VIDEO FOR “BAR BREAKER”
Rhymesayers Entertainment emcee PROF has released a new video for his track, “Bar Breaker,” via HipHopDX. Produced by Aesop Rock, “Bar Breaker” is the second single from Prof’s forthcoming Rhymesayers debut, ‘Liability.’ The outlandish video begins with the rapper digging himself out of being buried alive, followed by him crashing an amateur porn shoot in a van, jumping off a bridge, getting hit by a car, and taking an IV from a bottle of Jameson in the back of an ambulance. Or…what Prof calls Tuesday. The video was shot entirely with a GoPro camera, mounted to Prof on a custom-made Snoricam rig. Each verse was filmed as one continuous shot, giving a fun and unique perspective of the action as it unfolds.

SCARFACE’S NEW VIDEO “STEER” FT. RUSH DAVIS
Scarface is a legend. You’ve probably heard that. Maybe you’ve heard all his music, too. (Maybe you’ve even read his book-or at least the very interesting Noisey article about it). But maybe you haven’t, and the idea of diving into the body of work of a rapper who’s been making music for 25 years with his new single seems ridiculous. In this case, though, it’s not.

PLASTIC RHINO NEW SINGLE
Their new single, “Big Man Baby” was co-written by Atara, Jack, and Tom Chandler, who also produced on the track. This in-your-face rock powerhouse reigns in the intensity of the late-period glory days of alternative rock, a vivacious mix of punk, industrial rock and grunge. Its wildly kinetic pace remains all together invigorating as Atara’s howling vocals soar across the reverberating sound. On a track about refusing to confirm to a mans standards, Atara takes centerstage, showcasing how truly powerful women can be. Both in rock music and outside of it.
