LED ZEPPELIN GROUNDBREAKING VDEO FOR “TRAMPLED UNDER FOOT”
Led Zeppelin have teamed with media and technology company Interlude to produce a groundbreaking interactive video to the previously unreleased rough mix of “Trampled Under Foot,” which goes by the early working title “Brandy & Coke.” The video can be viewed now at www.ledzeppelin.com.
Through this immersive music video, Led Zeppelin fans will be able to see beyond the façade of one of rock’s most iconic album covers, Physical Graffiti , and step inside the building through each of the 16 featured windows. Until now, no fan has had so many ways to explore and see a music video come alive. By selecting one of the featured 16 windows, the audience can enter into the room and will discover events that pay homage to the window illustrations on the original artwork. Featuring archival footage, such as the band’s full Earl’s Court performance of the song, original animation and more, Interlude technology allows viewers to follow and interact with characters from room to room without disrupting the flow of the song.
LUCAS NORD SHARES NEW SINGLE ‘VOICES’
22 year old Swede Lucas Nord has recently announced the release of a new 7-track album entitled ‘After You’, and is today sharing the lead single from the release, ‘Voices’.
‘After You’, set for release on 19th May 2015 on Cosmos Music, will stand as his first body of work to arrive since his acclaimed debut album ‘Islands’ released in 2013, which included the track ‘Run on Love’ – featuring his friend and collaborator Tove Lo on vocals.

The latest ravishing score by Cave and Ellis is for director David Olehoffen’s Loin Des Hommes (Far From Men) and is released through Bad Seeds Ltd. on May 19th.
Far From Men was a triple prizewinner at the Venice film festival (2014) and stars Viggo Mortensen and Reda Kateb. Adapted from a short story by Albert Camus, it is a powerful tale of divided loyalties and colonialist violence during Algeria’s war of independence. With its mesmeric drones, pointillist piano jabs, weeping strings and nerve-jangling electronics, this is one of the duo’s most emotive and experimental soundtracks to date, sounding both achingly intimate and cosmically vast.

US POSTAL SERVICE COMMEMORATES DR. MAYA ANGELOU’S 84th BIRTHDAY
The incomparable Dr. Maya Angelou would be turning 84 years old on Saturday, April 4th, 2015 and she’ll be recognized in a big way. To celebrate the incredible life and accomplishments of this remarkable woman, The United States Postal Service will release a commemorative forever stamp on April 7th. The postal service will celebrate with a First-Day-of-Issue stamp dedication ceremony at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 7th, at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C.

ANTHRAX NEARS COMPLETION OF NEW ALBUM

SAN CISCO VIDEO “RUN”
Coming out of the small coastal resort of Fremantle, a beautiful town nestling in the shadow of Perth’s gleaming monoliths and separated from the more fashionable parts of Oz by thousands of miles of red dirt, you might expect the music of San Cisco to be limited in vision, comprising flimsy surf-ditties extolling the ephemeral pleasures of sun, surf and sex. You would be wrong, however. For while it would be untrue to claim that the unholy trinity of sex, sun and sea are absent from their songs, on their new album, Gracetown, the band – singer Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo (guitar),Nick Gardner (bass) and Scarlett Stevens (drums) – extend their sonic palette to new territories. There is a deeper, chillier feel to songs such as ‘Snow’ and a looser feel to ones like ‘Jealousy’ that signals a new sophistication and maturity. Less sun, then, and more muted shades, as well as a deeper exploration of the hormonal tangle that is postmodern sexual politics. If there is a band that better explores the ache, paranoia and oestrogen-rush of young love I don’t know it. The album shows San Cisco growing up, and this growing up is scary and magnificent to behold.
