ICELANDIC BAND KALEO ADDS ADDITIONAL U.S. TOUR DATES
The Icelandic foursome Kaleo have added additional dates to their North American tour. Fresh off the heels of their U.S. debut at SXSW Music Festival, Kaleo will join Vance Joy on tour for select dates in April and will also perform in major cities including Portland, San Francisco, Seattle and Los Angeles to name a few. The band will make a stop at Seattle’s KEXP to perform Live on The Morning Show on Friday, April 10th at 9:30AM PST. Fans worldwide can stream the performance at KEXP.org. THE ARTFULS “ALL OVER TOWN”

Kendall Schmidt, former star of Nickelodeon’s hit show, Big Time Rush has announced the release of Happy Mistakes: Unplugged – a 10 track acoustic follow up to 2014’s Happy Mistakes. Announcing the April 28 release via Popcrush with an exclusive album trailer, Happy Mistakes: Unplugged is the latest release via Schmidt’s very own TOLbooth Records.
Kendall paid homage to his favorite albums of the past, by stripping down a body of work that already existed to create an intimate aural experience for his fans. Entirely recorded and produced in his home studio, Schmidt says of the process, “Happy Mistakes: Unplugged was a labor of love and focused creativity. Six Feet Under bassist Jeff Hughell announces his debut full-length solo album Chaos Labyrinth showcasing his unique skills as a preeminent bass guitar player. His technical metal roots shine through on tracks such as “Jagermeister Death Grind” and “Chaotic Implosion”, yet exceptional versatility is shown through calmer melodic songs such as “Still” and “Let It Go”. The album is an embodiment of all that can be done on a bass from awe-inspiring tapping to beautifully flowing melodies. Chaos Labyrinth is now available on ITunes and Amazon.
“Chaos Labyrinth is different because it’s a whole new level of sounds and dynamics from anything I have ever done” says Hughell. The album is composed of ten songs and is 43 minutes long. It succeeds a solo EP I Came To Hate that was released in 2009. Chaos Labyrinth was recorded at Castle Ultimate Studios by Zack Ohren.
