BURNT BOOKS “STUPID GAMES”
Closing a two-year gap since their debut album, Columbia, South Carolina’s ultra-avant/eclectic punk antagonists, BURNT BOOKS, have hooked up with independent label Retro Futurist, founded by members of Kylesa, for the release of their recently completed second full-length, Where There’s Smoke There’s Fire.

Singer-songwriter Trevor Hall has unveiled a video trailer for his new EP Unpack Your Memories, due out on Vanguard Records on March 27th. The intimate look into Unpack Your Memories was directed by his wife Emory Hall and takes the viewer on a personal journey through some of Hall’s most beautiful memories of his life.

SETH TROXLER “EVANGELION”
Just over a year since its launch, Guy Gerber’s RUMORS imprint continues to blend the world of music and art with a series of highly sought after releases and events. Following on from Guy & Puff Daddy’s remix EP of their stand out album track; ’Tourist Trap’, RUMORS welcomes Seth Troxler to the label with his debut, ‘Evangelion’.
Scheduled for release on March 30th, ‘Evangelion’ follows Troxler’s recent collaboration with Phil Moffa for their ‘Rogue Music’ EP, and also features a remix from Matt Jonson & Jesse Heartthrob – marking the label’s sixth offering.

Saint Petersburg based DJ and Producer XandL is a relatively new name to most having only stepped onto the scene in 2013 via releases on Spirit Soul and Snippet Recordings, but the early stages of his career have seen him pick up support from the likes of Amine Edge, Coyu, Kolombo and Newbie Nerdz. DC quartet Pree is set to to release sophomore album Rima in May 2015. Known for their unique and vibrant pop songs, Rima was crafted after returning to DC following touring, and a time of reorientation and reexamination of relationships. The ten tracks of Rima (which takes its name from geologic fissures on the Moon) are a series of confrontations— perceptions enhanced and at times disorted by the narrator’s own fractures understanding of others.

A GRAVE WITH NO NAME PREMIERES “I WILL RIDE A HORSE”
A Grave With No Name, the recording project of Alexander Shields, has premiered a second single, “I Will Ride A Horse”, from his latest LP today on The Line Of Best Fit. The record mimics a style originated from the group Bone thugs n Harmony, in which Chi City delivers a track that could possibly be labeled as an original piece of art. DIAMANTE JOINS WHITESNAKE ON THE PURPLE TOUR
LA based teen rocker DIAMANTE will be joining select dates on Whitesnake’s The Purple Tour. Diamante will join the tour on June 2 in Santa Rosa, CA and will continue until the tour hits Houston, TX on June 20. Whitesnake will be touring to promote their new album, The Purple Album, which is the band’s first studio full-length album in four years.

KYRBGRINDER NEW ALBUM
Kyrbgrinder are a London based rock trio with a unique style of metal. JUKEBOX ROMANTICS NEW LABEL DEAL
Punk/hardcore label Jailhouse Records has announced the recent signing of New York threesome, The Jukebox Romantics.
The band was formerly attached to the Altercation label where they released two records. The band is gearing up for a U.S tour this summer, with plans to tour Europe in early 2016.
Their Jailhouse Records debut will come in the form of a 7″ entitled “Plot Points” to be released on June 9, followed by their third full length release later in the summer. They were both produced by Bouncing Souls guitarist and good friend Pete Steinkopf.

ACTIVE CHILD “1999”

Germany’s Ván Records is proud to have London-based epic black metal sect, CROM DUBH, a part of their ever-expanding roster, as the band’s debut full-length album Heimweh is released onto the masses.
Merging melodic yet merciless black metal with folk and post-rock influences, CROM DUBH’s debut full-length, Heimweh (meaning homesickness), continues the narrative of the band’s 2010 EP, Deifr, in which the gathering and dissolution of a great river operated as a metaphor for the rise and fall of nations and civilizations. Heimweh follows a similar narrative, albeit with a focus on the life of the lone individual within this tumult, following a traditional cradle-to-grave progression throughout the course of the album that runs parallel to Hesiod’s five ages of man. The album handles themes of loss, ruthlessness, nostalgia, exile, and death, thinking on the journey ahead and the way home.

Adem’s remix and production efforts have included work with artists as diverse as Sia, Explosions In The Sky, Underworld, Foals, and of course his work on Philip’s sophomore album, Weatherhouse.
WARTIME BLUES “BUILD A SUN”
Wartime Blues is an indie-Americana octet based in the small, mountainous town of Missoula, Montana. Their sound has been compared to “Nebraska”-era Bruce Springsteen, Wilco and the more acoustic aspects of Yo La Tengo. After a three-year hiatus in which half the band moved to Texas, Wartime Blues reconvened on the shores of the largest lake in Montana to record “April, Texas,” their third record. It’s a song cycle set in small towns across the southern Great Plains.
DIAGRAMS GO ACOUSTIC
Diagrams released their new album, Chromatics, this week via Full Time Hobby. The sophomore full-length from songwriter/producer Sam Genders, former co-founder of Tunng, under the Diagrams name, it is the first to be released in North America.
