MOA NEW VIDEO “MY NAME IS MOA”
MOA is the alter ego of New York-based saxophonist turned electronic music producer Max Wild. Launching his new live electronic project in 2014, MOA effortlessly merges electronic and acoustic sounds, drawing from a rich sonic palette that ranges from electropop, dubstep, jazz, and African sounds.
His debut EP features three tracks that display radically different genres coming together in a seamless package. The title track starts the EP off with a bang. Dirty synth riffs sync up with a soulful sax melody as hard 4-on-the-floor beats filter in. A heavy dubstep drop aggressively disrupts the melody and calls for mayhem on the dance-floor.

ÁSGEIR DEBUTS BRAND NEW “KING AND CROSS” VIDEO
Critically praised Icelandic musician Ásgeir has unveiled the brand new video for his single “King And Cross” exclusively through NPR Music’s First Watch on All Songs TV. Directed by Phil Pinto, the clip was shot in a warehouse in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn and beautifully juxtaposes the themes of the song. COLBIE CAILLAT RELEASES BRAVE & INSPIRING NEW VIDEO FOR “TRY”
Caillat’s new single “Try,” previously an iTunes “Single of the Week,” has since become one of the biggest performing songs on iTunes. While working on her forthcoming album GYPSY HEART, Caillat was encouraged by co-writer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds to voice her frustrations surrounding the mounting pressure she felt as a woman, particularly in the entertainment industry. Following the sizzle of the Fourth of July, Miami bred DJ Shintaro Yasuda has released some fireworks of his own. His latest single “Louder!,” has an insatiable tribal feel to it with fast paced synths that stab quicker than Muhammad Ali. Rising girl group G.R.L today announces the release of their debut self-titled EP, set for release July 29th on Kemosabe Records/RCA Records. The EP features their current single “Ugly Heart” with a video that has blown up online with over 2.5 million views in less than a week.

THE MISPERS SINGLE “RIO”
Alternative-rock quintet The Mispers were born 18 months ago. Within two weeks of rehearsing the band had filmed and recorded a video for the track You Hold and the demo of Brother, recorded at Abbey Road studios with the help of a friend.
Brother was picked up by Zane Lowe on Radio 1 and within six months they had sold out nine London shows, toured Europe and supported Saint Raymond on their UK tour. Their fans were building quickly; The Mispers had found their own clique of like-minded people to go missing with.

RICK JAMES’ CATALOG RE-RELEASED IN DIGITAL FORM
Rick James, the “Super Freak” hitmaker singer, producer, innovator and award-winning pioneer in the fusion of funk, R&B, rock and soul was a vagrant hippie in the 1960s who wandered to Toronto, where he ended up playing with Neil Young and Joni Mitchell, only to end up a hybrid superstar in the ‘80s thanks to his hit song, “Super Freak.” An incorrigible bad boy caught up in bad boy ways since his passing from heart failure in 2004, he has remained a legendary icon whose contributions to music can be felt in the likes of Prince, Jay Z and Snoop Dogg, among countless others.
On July 8, Universal Music Enterprises will reissue James’ entire Motown catalog in a 109-track Complete Motown Albums digital box set, which includes all nine albums and a selection of bonus tracks. The reissues will coincide with the publication of his authorized biography, Glow, written with acclaimed author David Ritz on Atria Books (Simon & Schuster).

Mobbing around an open art space with mops and brooms, the janitor jobs clearly weren’t working for Wara and his partners, as the video shows them running around the city smoking, toting super soakers, and hitting the basketball courts, all while in uniform.
