NEW SINGLE BY CANIBUS
Second leak, “The Primary Axiom,” from Canibus forthcoming LP Fait Accompli. “The Primary Axiom”—The issue of who we are, where we came from, and where we are going is of enormous importance. ‘Modern Darwinism’ is built on “The Primary Axiom” which can de defined as man is merely the product of random mutations plus natural selection. Within our society’s academia, “The Primary Axiom” is universally taught; and almost universally accepted.

Ohio-based Ferocious Records is proud to announce the signing of thrash metal outfit INDESTRUCTIBLE NOISE COMMAND (I.N.C.). The band is gearing up to release and tour behind their new album, Black Hearse Serenade, due this fall on Ferocious Records.
Formed in 1985, Connecticut’s I.N.C. began their recording career in 1987 with their debut album, Razorback, on Giant Records. Critics and fans throughout the tri-state area were hammered over the head by what they heard. The band’s heavy, destructive style translated well to stage and to vinyl.
NEW SINGLE BY COCKTAILS “BOB POLLARD’S MIND”
Cocktails know growing up will kill you, eventually. But somewhere between the mundane strictures of a responsible American life in the 21st century, with its attendant student debt, meager 401(k)s, and the macrobrew-soaked recklessness of youth is a sweet spot.
This is where the San Francisco quintet’s debut LP Adult Life (out June 17th) resides. Gone is the self-described “slop pop” of the band’s earlier efforts, replaced by a more mature attitude and classic guitar pop every bit as rowdy, but with a greater attention to detail: mean, efficient guitar solos, Moog flourishes, sweeping boy-girl harmonies, and an overall crisper sound.
THE JANOSKIANS NEW VIDEO “REAL GIRLS EAT CAKE”
Produced and written by hitmakers Orange Factory Music (OFM) and Jay Sean- who to date have sold a combined 15 million singles worldwide, “Real Girls Eat Cake” marks the band’s first release for REPUBLIC RECORDS. The song marries surf-style guitar and a ska bounce before colliding into an anthemic 90’s influenced, ska-core refrain. However, it only begins to feed the massive fan demand for more music from the quintet.
Watch the “Real Girls Eat Cake” video below:
THE HARROW’S VIDEO “AXIS”
Mixed by James Aparicio (Spiritualized, Grinderman, Yeasayer, Liars), the song is available on a limited split 7″ with La Fete Triste on German label aufnahme+wiedergabe.
Directed and edited by The Harrow’s own Barrett Hiatt, the “Axis” video was filmed in the midst of a snowstorm on a deserted beach off Long Island Sound, utilizing mysterious winter imagery to emphasize the song’s icy yet dreamy atmosphere.
Brooklyn’s The Harrow present a new video for the single “Axis”:
YAVES VIDEO FOR “ONE WISH”
“My first giant steps, where’s John Coltrane, I see my problems lining up call it Soul Train, Mom says use it as fuel propane, but soon enough the water boil over slow flame…” – Yaves
We all have those days where we find that we are nowhere near where we want to be. We feel as if we are moving at a slow pace, while the world around us is advancing. We often are encouraged by others around us who tell us to “keep the faith”… but what happens when you really just aren’t hearing it?

JAMES GARDIN SINGLE “I CRY”
“As selfish at it sounds, sometimes the last person we think about in suicide are the people who are left alive. Wondering what they did wrong or how they missed the signs did they not love their child, spouse or friend enough. Depression is a demon I’d rather see dead and gone, but people are victimized by it every day. I think we have to let people know we appreciate them every chance we get. Knowing that you’re not on this sinking ship alone may be the solidarity you need in order to wake up another day and keep living this life that you’re blessed with.” – James Gardin
Beat production by Trebles and Blues.
The “Moleskines & Pocketsquares” EP is available now as a free download on Noisetrade.

JEFFERSON GRIZZARD SHOWCASES ROOTS ROCK GEMS ON “LEARNING HOW TO LIE”
A focus back on singer-songwriters has become evident in today’s musical climate, as seen by the success of such artists as Wilco and Ryan Adams (while such veteran artists as Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen are enjoying the biggest commercial success of their entire career). And the fast-rising singer/guitarist, Jefferson Grizzard, is cut from the same musical cloth, as heard throughout his exceptional new release, ‘Learning How to Lie’ (via Back Porch Syndicate Records, and available on CD, 180g audiophile vinyl, and as a download at iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby).
Grizzard has also hooked up with famed director, Matt Mahurin, to film a great new video for the title track of the album. Mahurin’s track record speaks for itself – directing such classic videos over the years as the Black Crowes’ “She Talks to Angels,” Queensryche’s “Silent Lucidity,” Metallica’s “The Unforgiven,” and Alice in Chains’ “Angry Chair,” among others.
