FINISH TICKET PREMIERES VIDEO FOR “TRANQUILIZE”

NEW ALBUM BY LA ROUX
La Roux will make her eagerly-awaited return with the release of Trouble In Paradise set to hit July 8th via Cherrytree/Interscope Records. Ohio-based Ferocious Records is proud to announce the signing of thrash metal outfit INDESTRUCTIBLE NOISE COMMAND (I.N.C.). The band is gearing up to release and tour behind their new album, Black Hearse Serenade, due this fall on Ferocious Records.
Formed in 1985, Connecticut’s I.N.C. began their recording career in 1987 with their debut album, Razorback, on Giant Records. Critics and fans throughout the tri-state area were hammered over the head by what they heard. The band’s heavy, destructive style translated well to stage and to vinyl.

NEW SINGLE BY COCKTAILS “BOB POLLARD’S MIND”
Cocktails know growing up will kill you, eventually. But somewhere between the mundane strictures of a responsible American life in the 21st century, with its attendant student debt, meager 401(k)s, and the macrobrew-soaked recklessness of youth is a sweet spot.
This is where the San Francisco quintet’s debut LP Adult Life (out June 17th) resides. Gone is the self-described “slop pop” of the band’s earlier efforts, replaced by a more mature attitude and classic guitar pop every bit as rowdy, but with a greater attention to detail: mean, efficient guitar solos, Moog flourishes, sweeping boy-girl harmonies, and an overall crisper sound.

Mushroomhead, the influential industrial metal band from Cleveland, OH, has released its seventh studio album “The Righteous & The Butterfly” today via Megaforce Records. Recorded in Cleveland, the band self produced the record with longtime co-producer Bill Korecky. NEW SINGLE BY BIG SEARCH
Big Search is the alter ego of Los Angeles harmony slinger Matt Popieluch. Harnessing loose echos of Harry Nilsson, Lindsey Buckingham, and various Beatles solo albums, Big Search’s aim is to create strolling, meandering escapes best suited for headphones at home, or high-altitude travel.
To date, Big Search has released a limited edition pressing of the home recorded Lay of the Land as well as singles for “Middle Man” and “Distant Shore”. Due to his short attention span, his latest, Role Reversal, was on its way to “lost album” status when Popieluch was encouraged by a few friends and Jaunt Records to bring it to light.

On June 24th,New Orleans-based singer-songwriter Carsie Blanton will release Not Old, Not New, an album of jazz classics from the pre-bebop era. Today, USA Today is premiering the second track to be released from the album, “You’re A Heavenly Thing,” originally penned by Jack Little and Joe Young.
“You may not think you like jazz, you may think it’s too academic or too sophisticated for you, but actually, it’s for everybody,” Blanton tells USA Today. “I tried to make this album in such a way that it would enroll people in the music the way that people used to be enrolled in it in the ’30s and ’40s.”
