OPETH’S “PALE COMMUNION” RESLATED FOR AUGUST RELEASE
Roadrunner Records group Opeth has announced that the release of their highly anticipated eleventh studio album, “PALE COMMUNION” has been reslated for AUGUST 26TH.
“Many of you have heard the rumours already and we can now confirm that the release of ‘Pale Communion’ has indeed been pushed back to late August,” commented Opeth frontman, Mikael Ã…kerfeldt. “Several circumstances prevented the band from delivering essential tools to Roadrunner in time which are needed to set up the album release properly and release schedule conflicts made us mutually decide on August instead of June.”

Composed of rapper MC Zumbi and producer AMP Live, Zion I wants to change the perception of hip hop by simultaneously infusing elements of spirituality and a mix of genres including trip hop, R&B and a bit of Latin flavor. BOSTON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA APPOINTS KEN-DAVID MASUR AS NEW ASSISTANT CONDUCTOR
The Boston Symphony Orchestra has appointed Ken-David Masur as the orchestra’s new assistant conductor beginning with the 2014-15 season for a two-year term. Mr. Masur will join the Boston Symphony Orchestra for his first podium appearance as assistant conductor during the 2015 Tanglewood season. He will then make his BSO subscription series debut during the 2015-16 season. LILY ALLEN TO HIT THE ROAD FOR NORTH AMERICAN TOUR IN SEPTEMBER
Lily Allen has announced that she will hit the road in September for her first North American tour in five years. The British pop singer is touring in support of her new album Sheezus, which was released to much critical fanfare on May 6th by Warner Bros. Records. The album has peaked at No. 1 on iTunes in six countries, including the U.K., at No. 2 on iTunes in seven countries, including the U.S., and is Top 10 on iTunes in a total of 20 countries. Tickets for the tour go on-sale May 16th, with the exception of Los Angeles which is on-sale May 15th.
In addition to the tour, which kicks off in Miami on September 9th and concludes on October 10th in Los Angeles, Allen is also performing a sold-out show at New York City’s Highline Ballroom this week (May 15th). In addition, she will appear on The Today Show on May 14th, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on May 15th, and Live with Kelly and Michael on May 26th. She will also tape an episode of PBS The Artist’s Den airing later this summer.
