WIRE: NEW SILVER SNAKES MUSIC VIDEO FOR “GREY WOLF WILD”
Alarm-Magazine.com has premiered a brand new music video for Silver Snakes’ “Grey Wolf Wild” today. He was 16 years old at the time and living at a sanctuary called Wolf Mountain in Lucerne Valley, CA. I sat down beside him, and although he was the most gentle animal I had ever met, I still felt completely powerless in his presence. It was as though he could see right through me and my problems. That interaction left a mark on me and inspired far more than just this one song. The room is the stage, the lights are the thoughts. We just do what we do.”

BEN FROST POSTS “NOLAN”
Ben Frost has unveiled a new track, “Nolan”, and spoken about how his experiences in the Eastern DR Congo influenced his new album A U R O R A:
“Under the threatening gaze of the very active Mount Nyiragongo Volcano, Eastern Congo exists in a constant flux of destruction and re-creation: an Ouroboros. A sonic arms race where distortion, and visceral power are not affectations of choice, or fashion, but byproducts of raw necessity- creating a sprawling composition of truly operatic proportions, barely held together, in unnerving beauty and unflinching horror, with no beginning and no end.”
WIRE: NEW SINGLE BY PROBCAUSE
The song’s lyrics also pay some homage to the MC’s hometown, as ProbCause lyrics from fellow Chicagoan Twista’s “Adrenaline Rush,” rapping “so turn the bass kick up and bump, and let the rhythm hit off the trunk.” Two weeks ago, Noisey premiered the full audio version of the song, saying “he’s taken it upon himself to deliver a Chi anthem in ‘Chicago Style.'” Produced by Fortified Sounds and Drew Mantia, the full version includes an extended, House/Juke-influenced portion. From ProbCause’s forthcoming WAVES EP, which is set for a May 12 release, “Chicago Style” is the first official single, following a Hood Internet remix of “LSD,” which features Chance the Rapper and first appeared on SPIN.
