Alternative rock outfit The Nearly Deads issued “I Said,” the first single from their highly-anticipated debut album Invisible Tonight, on Tuesday April 8. Stacked with emotional strength and brimming with confident self-awareness, PureVolume premiered the song, anointing “I Said” as “a defiant piano-driven anthem”.
In conjunction with the single release, the band launched a Kickstarter campaign on April 16 to support the summer album release and North American tour. Rewards for Kickstarter donors include video game sessions with band members, Skype chats, custom made-to-order songs, original drawings, themed house parties, coffee hangs, dinner dates, mani-pedis, hair/makeup tutorials, thrift-shopping, one-of-a-kind props from the official “I Said” music video and the opportunity to attend a private VIP party in Nashville before the band’s record release show on Sunday June 29.
