For such a young band (the trio formed just last February, so they’re not even a year old!), MisterWives sounds like they’ve been making music together forever. They’re a flawless blend of folk and soul–a little bit Lumineers, a little bit Of Monsters and Men, but entirely their own, thanks to the hauntingly soulful voice of lead singer Mandy Lee, who’s not only the frontlady but also the crazy-talented songwriter who pens all their tracks. And did we mention that she’s just 21? Yeah, she’s just 21.
