Mandarin Dynasty is the musical brainchild of Mike Sherk, birthed sometime in 2004. Sherk, a native son of Southern California, wrote and recorded the album during breaks between extended tours, briefly setting up shop in Michigan, Ohio, Rhode Island and Texas.
