Crooked House Management is pleased to announce the addition of Scottish indie band Tango In The Attic to their management roster, which also includes Ireland’s Autumn Owls. Tango’s new EP, Crushed Up debuted at #1 on the CMJ charts last week and will be available soon for download.
The four-piece from Glenrothes, Scotland formed while at Edinburgh University, but have been friends since childhood. Their 2010 debut LP Bank Place Locomotive Society showcased the band’s dance driven post-punk sound while their more recent material infuses electronic barrages and waves of vocal reverb adding a . Recent comparisons have included Animal Collective, The Strokes, and Tokyo Police Club. The above SXSW 2012 promo video for “Swimming Pool” is off their 2012 LP Sellotape.
