Swedish recording artist Amanda Mair will release her debut self-titled album in the US June 5th on Labrador. Produced by Philip Ekström of The Mary Onettes, the album features the new single “Sense,” out Spring 2012. Released in Sweden just last week, the album debuted at #16 on the Swedish charts.

Mair was recently voted “2012’s Big Breakthrough” by the Swedish Music Industry and Aftonbladet, Sweden’s largest daily paper called the album “One of the best Swedish debuts ever.” Previous singles include “Doubt,” voted one of 2011’s best singles by influential UK site PopJustice (who also made it their Single Of The Day everyday for a week) and “House” which The Washington Post calls “gorgeous.”
