ITUNES NAMES THE PARLOR MOB DOGS 2011 ROCK ALBUM OF THE YEAR

New Jersey rock band The Parlor Mob only just released their Roadrunner Records sophomore album Dogs on October 11, 2011 but iTunes “Rewind” has named it 2011’s Rock Album Of The Year.   “Rewind” is iTunes editorial selections for the best music of 2011 and puts The Parlor Mob in the same company as Bon Iver, Adele, Lil Wayne, Foo Fighters and many more amongst their different categories. Each genre was broken down for music into Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Breakthrough Artist Of The Year.

The Parlor Mob’s first single, “Into The Sun” was featured as iTunes’ single of the week October 11, 2011 – October 17, 2011. Additionally, the sports community has embraced “Into The Sun” as well with the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins using the song as a centerpiece of an imaging campaign that has been airing on the local Fox Sports Network this season promoting hockey.   Monday Night Football on ESPN, Fox Sports, College Football and Thursday Night Kickoff on NFL Network, and NFL on Fox Sport and ESPN are all playing The Parlor Mob songs “Into The Sun” and “Fall Back.”
