It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what part of the country spoken word poet-turned-artist, Azad Right, is from upon viewing his new video, “I’ll Be Around.” He proudly showcases his native city throughout his visuals.First discovered by Adidas whilst performing at a Def Jam Rap Star video game release party in 2010, Azad was chosen for their international spoken word campaign. A classically trained pianist and violinist, Azad is proud to follow in the footsteps of his father, renowned Iranian poet, Majid Naficy, while at the same time carving his own lane.
