GAGA TALKS NEXT TOUR

Lady Gaga is already talking a little about her next tour.   The pop star told MTV.co.uk that she is plans to kick off the next trek at the “top” of 2012 and that she’ll begin rehearsing for it at the end of this year.   She likened touring to being in a marathon, saying that she wants to see how many in a row she can run.   Read more at MTV.co.uk.

LADY GAGA TWEETS FOR CLEMONS

Famed saxophonist Clarence Clemons is reportedly “responsive and in stable condition” after two brain surgeries, according to Bruce Springsteen fansite Backstreets.com. The E Street Band member suffered a stroke on Sunday and is now reportedly on the mend. Clemons performed on Lady Gaga’s latest album, Born This Way.   He played the sax on her single, “The Edge of Glory,” and Gaga took to Twitter to wish him a speedy recovery.  

CLARENCE CLEMONS SHOWING SIGNS OF IMPROVEMENT

While there hasn’t yet been an official statement on Clarence Clemons’ condition following his stroke, there is some good news that is being reported.   A “close friend” to the E Street Band saxophonist posted on the Bruce Springsteen fan site Backstreets.com that the Big Man is improving.   The insider wrote that after the stroke “it did not look good at all” but now “miracles are happening” and Clarence’s vital signs are improving.   Clemons was apparently paralyzed on his left side for a bit but can now squeeze with his left hand.   However, the next few days are critical.   We’ll keep you up to date.

SELENA GOMEZ WAS “MALNOURISHED”

Selena Gomez has bounced back after going to the hospital last week.   The singer performed at Santa Monica Place yesterday to make up for the gig she had to postpone on Friday, after being rushed to the hospital following her Tonight Show appearance.   Gomez told Us Weekly that she was “very malnourished and low on iron and exhausted.”

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE TALKS ABOUT POT SMOKING & MORE

Justin Timberlake opened up to Playboy magazine recently about smoking pot.   The 30-year-old singer told the magazine that he lights up to help turn off his brain.   He added, “Some people are better high.”   JT went on to say he is contemplating taking some time off to sit and enjoy the fruits of his labor so it could be a while before we hear new music from Timberlake.   His last album was 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds.   You can see Timberlake opposite Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel in Bad Teacher, which opens June 24th.

EMINEM AND ROYCE ARE NUMBER ONE!

Even though the sales figures for Nielsen Soundscan are not in just yet, Eminem and Royce Da 5’9″ must feel great knowing that their joint EP, Hell: The Sequel, is listed at number one on the iTunes Album Chart. We’ll have to wait until Wednesday to find out if the disc will claim the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

MADONNA TO ENTER THE STUDIO NEXT MONTH?

Great news for fans of Madonna — it seems that the Queen of Pop will be getting into the studio to record some new music pretty soon.   If her manager Guy Oseary’s Twitter is to be believed, then Madge will begin work on an album “next month.”   Read more at Twitter.com/GuyOseary.

MADONNA’S FILM GETS A U-S DISTRIBUTOR

Madonna has found a U-S distributor for her new film, W.E., which means it will be coming out in America.   According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Weinstein Co. bought the rights to the film that Madge co-wrote and directed.   It tells the story of Wallis Simpson and King Edward VIII.   No word on when exactly the movie is set to hit theaters.

ADELE HASN’T LET THE FAME CHANGE HER

Adele hasn’t let becoming rich and famous change her.   The pop star told Britain’s Glamour magazine that since she didn’t “come from any money,” so she’s been helping spread her wealth around to “charity and to friends and family.”   She added that she does have an assistant, but she still insists on doing her own laundry.

BRUNO MARS MAKES CHART HISTORY

Bruno Mars has just made history.   According to Billboard.com, the singer’s tune “Just The Way You Are” became the longest reigning number one debut single from an artist on the Adult Contemporary chart after being at the summit for 20 weeks.   He’s now surpassed both Colbie Caillat’s “Bubbly” and Daniel Powter’s “Bad Day,” which each spent 19 weeks at number one.

NKOTBSB ROCK NEW JERSEY

NKOTBSB performed at the Izod Center in Newark, New Jersey on Monday night.   The New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys kept the audience on their feet through the show performing their bevy of hits.   The groups took turns performing and also performed together with mash-ups.   BSB performed “Summertime,” “The Call,” “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely,” “Bye Bye Love,”   “I Want It That Way,” “Larger Than Life” and more, while New Kids got the crowd moving with “Right Stuff,” “Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind),” “Please Don’t Go Girl,” “Step by Step,” “Cover Girl” and “I’ll Be Loving You Forever.”   The NKOTBSB Tour rolls into Pittsburgh tonight.  

ADAM LEVINE WILL NOT GO SOLO

Lots of lead singers leave their bands to go solo for a while, but don’t expect Adam Levine to do anything like that.   The Maroon 5 singer told People magazine that he has zero interest in ever becoming a solo artist, and that he thinks its “nerdy.”   Maroon 5 are heading out on tour this summer with Train.   See all the dates at Maroon5.com.

ESTELLE EYES SEPTEMBER RELEASE

According to UrbanBrigez.com, Estelle plans to complete her album just in time for the fall. The singer’s forthcoming effort, All of Me, will be completed and released this September. The disc will reportedly include contributions from Jerry Wonda, No I.D., Common, Ne-Yo and Janelle Monae. In addition, the visual to her lead single, “Break My Heart” featuring Rick Ross, is expected to premiere very soon.

WINEHOUSE PERFORMS SOBER, GETS RAVE REVIEWS

Amy Winehouse is out of rehab and gearing up for a European tour, and if you judge by how she sounded at her “comeback” show in London on Sunday night, the trek should be a roaring success.   A source told British paper The Sun that the embattled singer performed seven songs, including “Rehab” and “Valerie,” for a small crowd, and was in “fine form.”   Apparently, she “looked and sounded great,” and perhaps most importantly, “didn’t touch a drop of alcohol all night.”

SOULJA BOY WAS HACKED ON FACEBOOK

Soulja Boy upset a lot of fans after he allegedly posted a rant on Facebook that read: “I’m gonna keep talking s**t to these white f**gots until they unlike my page. f**king weirdo stalkers!” However, the rapper released a statement to TMZ that reads, “I wanted to clear the air and let everyone know that my Facebook got hacked.” He added, “I had administrators on my account that no longer work with me. The hackers used these old accounts to post hateful messages.   This was not done by me or anyone on my team and I’m upset that I am being labeled as a racist and homophobic person.”   There you have it.

BRANDY RETURNS TO TV

Brandy will be making her TV comeback this summer on the third season of Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva. The singer will reportedly play a nurse who is having trouble claiming money from her late father’s life insurance company. B-Rocka said of the opportunity, “Drop Dead Diva is on my favorites list and I am so thrilled that I get to be on it for at least three episodes. And such a juicy role!” The season premiere of Drop Dead Diva airs this Sunday at 9 PM Eastern.
