THE BLACK EYED PEAS PLANNING A BREAK
The Black Eyed Peas have been steadily working since 2009 without much of a break. They recorded The Beginning while on tour supporting their multi-platinum album The E.N.D. According to Rap-Up.com, fans should not expect a new BEP album anytime soon. Fergie revealed that following the completion of their summer tour, the group will take a break from recording and be “more selective” about the ventures and performances they do. The singer said she is excited to take a break and to have some free time. The Peas will next take the stage in Carlisle, U-K for a show at the Big Weekend Festival, which will also feature Jessie J, Nicole Scherzinger and Tinie Tempah.
TABOO WELCOMES A BABY BOY
Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas and his wife, Jaymie Dizon, welcomed a baby boy named Journey Jameson Gomez on Tuesday afternoon. The singer took to Twitter to share the news with his fans. He said that Journey is a “calm baby.” Taboo added that the baby looks like his grandmother and his older brother Jalen.
TIDBITS: Taboo now has three sons, 17-year-old Josh, 18-month-old Jalen and his infant boy Journey.

GLEE PRESENTS THE WARBLERS DEBUTS AT NUMBER TWO
Glee Presents the Warblers debuts at number two on the Billboard album chart selling over 86-thousand copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Warblers is the tenth Glee album to debut in the top ten. Adele is back on top with her 21 album, while last week’s chart-topper, Foo Fighters’ Wasting Light, falls to number three. The soundtrack to Disney Channel’s Lemonade Mouth leaps 14 notches to number four and Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale climbs one spot to round out the top five.
ADELE IS BACK ON TOP OF THE BILLBOARD CHART
Adele is back on top. The singer’s hit album, 21, returned to the summit of the Billboard 200 chart after a week at number two because of a hot debut from the Foo Fighters. With sales topping 150-thousand copies last week, 21 has now sold almost 1.3-million albums in the U-S alone.
BRUNO MARS TALKS WORKING WITH CEE-LO
Bruno Mars is talking a bit about working with Cee-Lo Green on the hit song “Forget You.” Bruno told Q magazine that he had wanted to collaborate with the singer “for years,” and that when he finally got into the studio with him, he as “a little nervous.” But it seems that everything worked out well, as they ended up writing the tune “in two hours.”
GAGA IS GIVING ONE-MILLION BUCKS TO CHARITY
Lady Gaga is giving one-million dollars to charity, and she wants her fans to help her decide who should get it. On her Facebook page, the pop star and the Robin Hood Foundation are teaming up to give the money to one of five New York City charities that focus on helping homeless youth, and whichever receives the most votes will receive 500-thousand dollars over a two year period, while the other four will get smaller grants. JENNIFER LOPEZ JOINS DRAKE FOR ANIMATED FILM
According to SingersRoom.com, Jennifer Lopez has signed on to be a voice actor in the upcoming animated film, Ice Age: Continental Drift. The American Idol judge will join Keke Palmer, rapper Drake, Wanda Sykes and Aziz Ansari as well as the original cast in the fourth installment of the franchise. Moviegoers can expect the film to hit theaters in summer 2012.
BEYONCE FACING 100-MILLION DOLLAR LAWSUIT
According to TMZ, Beyonce is facing a hefty lawsuit for allegedly breaching a contract with software development company, Gate Five. Apparently, the singer backed out last minute after she demanded more compensation for a motion-sensing video game called Starpower: Beyonce. In addition to 70 people losing their jobs because the deal went sour, Gate Five is seeking 100-million for “a bad faith breach of contract.”

COLBIE CAILLAT SINGS FOR THE PRESIDENT
Colbie Caillat had a pretty cool experience earlier in the week. The pop star took to her Twitter to write that she got to perform the National Anthem at the White House Easter Egg Roll while standing next to the Obamas, and that it was “one of the best moments” of her life. JOE JONAS AND JESICA SIMPSON HONORED BY US WEEKLY
Us Weekly celebrated its annual Hot Hollywood Style issue Tuesday night. The event honored a slew of celebrities, including Joe Jonas and Jessica Simpson, who were awarded with style-specific honors. Simpson won the Style Icon of the Year, which surprised her. She feels she is not that stylish, wearing hoodies and sweat shorts all the time. Other winners included former MTV reality stars Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port, who took home the Feminine Fashionista and the Individualist awards, respectively. Actress Hayden Panettiere was named the Style Chameleon, and Dancing With the Stars cast members Kendra Wilkinson, Petra Nemcova and Chelsea Kane were awarded the aptly titled Dancing With the Stars Divas prize.
RUNNER RUNNER ANNOUNCES ACOUSTIC TOUR!
Runner Runner will hit the road next month for a special, intimate acoustic headline tour. The spring trek will launch May 16th at the Visulite Theater in Charlotte, North Carolina and will wrap June 3rd at Redwood Art Space in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. The band will then join Good Charlotte and Yellowcard on their co-headline summer tour starting June 10th at the House of Blues San Diego, California and ending June 24th at Jannus Live! in St. Petersburg, Florida.

50 Cent has decided to venture into a new arena of entertainment. The mogul launched the This is 50 Comedy Show via a new website, ThisIs50Comedy.com. How it works is the general public will be able to view live showings, which will be shot from the Times Square Arts Center in New York, for $2.99 starting today.

Justin Guarini is a new dad. According to People.com, the singer’s wife, Reina, gave birth to a little boy named William Neko on Tuesday. This is Justin’s second child, as he adopted Reina’s daughter Lola from a previous relationship.
