BIEBER’S NEVER SAY NEVER TOPS MJ’S THIS IS IT
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never has earned 72.2-million dollars at the domestic box office so far, passing Michael Jackson’s 72.1-million haul for This Is It. Bieber still has a little way to go to climb the list of the top-grossing documentaries of all time. According to Box Office Mojo, Never Say Never is currently at the number three position, around five-million dollars behind March of the Penguins and nearly 50-million dollars short of the all-time record held by Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11, which raked in over 119-million dollars.
RICKY MARTIN HONORED AT GLAAD AWARDS
Ricky Martin was honored at the 22nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York City over the weekend. The Latin singer took home the Vito Russo Award, which is presented to a “lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender media professional who has made a significant difference in promoting equality for the LGBT community.” In his speech, Martin credited GLAAD for helping him cope in the wake of his public coming out last year on The Oprah Winfrey Show. He then went on to push for Latin American gay rights and asked that GLAAD stand up for those who can’t in that community. Additional GLAAD Awards will be handed out in Los Angeles on April 10th and in San Francisco on May 14th.

I can say today I’m free,” he said at the event. “And for that I definitely need to thank my parents for being so supportive, my mother and my dad for their unconditional love, and my friends, my family, my fans. SCHERZINGER SCORES U-K NUMBER ONE!
Nicole Scherzinger claimed her first U-K solo number one single with “Don’t Hold Your Breath.” Meanwhile, Adele still reigns over the album chart with 21 spending its eighth straight week at number one. Adele’s debut album, 19, climbs two spots to number two while Jessie J’s Who You Are album is at number three.
JoJo recently released a video on her website explaining the title change of her upcoming album and how she has grown as an artist. The now 20-year-old singer will release her third album, Jumping Trains, this summer. According to ThatGrapeJuice.net, she performed a song called “Play This Twice” at the Massive Music Festival last year and the video recently surfaced. “Play This Twice” is expected to be the lead single off her forthcoming album.
RIHANNA NOT DATING COLIN FARRELL
According to People magazine, Rihanna and actor Colin Farrell are not dating. Rumors spread when the two celebrities were spotted in Los Angeles at an upscale Italian restaurant. A source told the mag that while they did in fact eat at the same place, both sat separately and explained, “It was absolute coincidence they were at Giorgio Baldi at the same time. Colin was there at a business dinner and Rihanna was across the room.” There you have it.
MEL B IS PREGNANT!
Melanie Brown has confirmed that she is pregnant with her third child, due this summer. The baby will be her first with husband Stephen Belafonte. Brown already has two girls, a 12-year-old and a three-year-old. Melanie told Britain’s Daily Mail that the couple is “thrilled and excited” about the bundle of joy. Mel B joins other Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham, who are also pregnant.

Lady Gaga has revealed some of her beauty secrets. In the latest issue of People magazine, the pop star reveals her routine for staying glamorous — the last things she does every day is brush her teeth and she always goes to bed with make-up on, even though its “not good for your skin.” She also added that she’s losing her hair because she’s been dying it too much.
FERGIE TAKES TRAINER ON TOUR WITH HER
Fergie is in great shape, so perhaps it’s no surprise to learn that she brings her personal trainer on tour with her when she’s out with the Black Eyed Peas. The singer told People magazine that even though she gets a workout while dancing on stage, it’s just not enough and she needs her exercise expert to make sure she stays fit.
SELENA GOMEZ PLANNING BRITNEY SPEARS TRIBUTE
Selena Gomez reveals that she’s a huge Britney Spears fan. For her upcoming tour, Gomez plans to pay tribute to the pop sensation. In a recent interview with MTV News, Gomez said she would like her tribute to include Britney’s hits like “Baby One More Time,” “Toxic,” and maybe even her most recent songs. Selena also said she has no plans to remake any of Britney Spears famous dance moves. The hardcore Brit fan said she is excited for Spears’ album release of Femme Fatale in just one week on March 29th.
J. LO LAWSUIT
Jennifer Lopez is caught in a scandal again with her ex-husband. Lopez wants a judge to throw out a ten-million dollar lawsuit against her for allegedly holding back a film project by her first ex-husband-Ojani Noa. Lopez previously won an injunction to stop Noa and film producer Ed Meyer from moving forward with the film. Lopez claims that exposing the footage to the public would damage her reputation and career in the entertainment industry. The next court hearing is today (3/22).
KE$HA POSTPONES JAPAN SHOWS
Ke$ha has announced that she will be postponing her concerts in Japan. The singer kicked off her tour back in February and will resume the trek on April 1st in Pennsylvania. Japan’s annual R&B, soul and hip-hop festival called Springroove was also canceled. Nelly, Far East Movement, Keri Hilson and many others were set to perform at the festival.
STATEMENT: “My heart is with Japan right now through this disaster and these hardships. I genuinely don’t think right now would be appropriate timing for me to perform in Japan given the content and the spirit of my show, which is all about feeling exuberant, rowdy, and wild. In the meantime I am going to do everything I can to help relief efforts and I encourage everyone in the world to do the same.”
MILEY CYRUS ANNOUNCES WORLD TOUR PLANS
Miley Cyrus is gearing up for an international tour to kick off April 29th in Ecuador. She told her Facebook fans on Sunday that she would head to Peru after that with more dates to be announced later.
MARIAH NOT JOINING X FACTOR
Mariah Carey has announced that she will not appear as a judge on Simon Cowell’s The X Factor. According to MTV News, Mi Mi “politely” turned down the gig so she can focus on the birth of her twins and begin recording her next studio album. As previously reported, Def Jam chairman L.A. Reid is the only confirmed judge for the new series.
KATY PERRY TEASES “E.T.” VIDEO

The New York Post reports Nicki Minaj is being considered for the judge panel on X Factor USA. A source revealed that Simon Cowell thinks the Queens native is “fantastic.” While the deal is not finalized yet, the source added that the fem-cee would be a perfect fit for the show and could usher in a younger audience. Nicki joins the long list of possible judges including Tommy Mottola, former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl Cole.

While promoting his newly released F.A.M.E. album, Chris Brown refuted reports that he intentionally leaked his nude picture as a publicity stunt. The “Look At Me Now” singer told MTV News that he only sent the photo to a woman, who he wouldn’t name. Jim Beam has announced a string of ten concerts featuring artists from different genres as part of their Live Music Series. Kid Rock will play a show in Detroit as part of the series, which Jim Beam plans to stream portions of on their website and through Pandora. Gavin Rossdale is talking a bit about his first kiss with wife, Gwen Stefani. The Bush rocker told Details magazine that it all went down in New Orleans after he threw a party there “just as an excuse to hang out with her.” He said they then “drank a bunch of hurricanes and went around the French corner” and their first kiss happened that night. On May 3rd, Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler will release his autobiography, Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?, and now, he’s explaining it more, in a way only the rocker can. Tyler says the book features “all the unexpurgated, brain-jangling tales of debauchery, sex and drugs and transcendence you will ever want to hear.” He goes on to say, “I’ve been mythicized, Mick-icized, eulogized and fooligized, I’ve been Cole-Portered and farmer’s-daughtered, I’ve been Led Zepped and 12-stepped.” Fans will learn just what he means when the book hits shelves on May 3rd.
