“POKER FACE” HITS SIX-MILLION DOWNLOADS

Lady Gaga can’t help making history.   According to GagaDaily.com, her hit song “Poker Face” just became the third song to sell more than six-million downloads, joining her first ever single, “Just Dance,” and the Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling.”   Her next tune on its way to six-million is “Bad Romance,” which currently has almost 4.7-million downloads.

BRITNEY LEAKED?

Britney Spears has been releasing snippets of songs from her forthcoming Femme Fatale album almost daily.   Various websites are now reporting that the album has leaked 18 days before its scheduled release.   PopDust.com has posted full versions of the new songs “How I Roll,” and the will.i.am produced “Big Fat Bass.”   The good news for Spears is that only the standard version of the album leaked and the deluxe version is still under wraps.   Femme Fatale is slated to be officially released on March 29th.

GLEE COVER MAROON 5 TUNE

GREYSON CHANCE AND CODY SIMPSON ANNOUNCE TOUR

MILEY LASHES OUT AGAINST PHOTOG

Miley Cyrus and mother Tish were spotted at a West Hollywood, California restaurant on Wednesday.   According to AceShowbiz.com, while the pair was leaving, a member of the paparazzi bumped into Miley’s mom, causing the 18-year-old to go into a verbal tirade against the man.   See footage of the angry Miley at TMZ.com.  

CHRIS BROWN GIVES HIMSELF ADVICE

While promoting his upcoming F.A.M.E. LP, Chris Brown is reflecting on all the mistakes he has made in his career. If he could give advice to himself when he first came out, the singer told Page Six Magazine that he’d “be more selfish.” Brown explained when he was younger he “thought everybody was [his] friend, and it was like Wonderland.” He added, “I was in the industry without a care, because it’s so fun, and there’s money and everything. But you need to protect yourself.”   In related news, fans can purchase F.A.M.E. on March 22nd.

RAPPER WANTS TO COLLABORATE WITH TAYLOR SWIFT

Rapper Jay Sean told the BBC that he wants to collaborate with country superstar Taylor Swift. Sean says he loves a challenge and feels that teaming up with Taylor is just what he’s looking for. He revealed he talks to Taylor on a regular basis and knows she’s a fan of his music, which he said is “lovely”. The rapper added that he’s spotted Taylor dancing at one of his concerts before.   So far, it’s been tough for the two artists to find time in their schedules to meet, but Jay’s hoping they can get in the studio and write very soon.

IDOL COLLABORATION ALBUM OUT TOMORROW

Tomorrow sees the release of a brand new compilation album, American Idol: 10th Anniversary — The Hits Volume 1.   It features the biggest songs by some of the shows most famous alumni, including Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone,” Adam Lambert’s “Whataya Want From Me,” Daughtry’s “Home” and much more.   Be sure and pick up the album tomorrow.

NICKI MINAJ SHOOTS NEW VIDEO

According to MTV News, Nicki Minaj recently shot a video to her new song, “Super Bass,” which will premiere in two weeks. The cut is lifted from the rap star’s platinum selling debut, Pink Friday. The fem-cee said of the Sanaa Hamri-directed clip, “It’s a sexy world, it’s a playful world. Of course I have lots of eye candy for my girls and my boys.” Nicki added, “I’m going to be doing some things that people have never seen me do.” The Queens native also said that she could not confirm or deny if she has already begun recording her sophomore album.
