Dave Matthews Band will bring “Dave Matthews Band Caravan” to four U.S. locales this summer. Theseries of three-day festivals will feature a diverse array of musical talent performing on three stages during the day. As headliners, Dave Matthews Band will perform a full set each night. The band is taking the year off from touring, so these will be its only performances this year.
It was announced at a press conference today that Atlantic City, NJ has been selected to host the first “Dave Matthews Band Caravan,” which will take place on June 24th, 25th and 26th at Bader Field, formerly the site of the Atlantic City Municipal Airport. With its central location on the Eastern seaboard, Atlantic City is easily accessible from such major metropolitan areas as New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, DC via air, bus, car, Amtrak and New Jersey Transit. The seaside resort offers an exceptional range of attractions and amenities, including hotels, gaming, nightlife, fine dining, spas, pristine beaches and the city’s historic boardwalk.
