ADAM LAMBERT ANNOUNCES ACOUSTIC EP

On December 6th, Adam Lambert will release a five song EP titled Acoustic Live!   There will be a limited number of physical copies made available for sale exclusively at Lambert’s official website.   Fans who pre-order the EP through the site will get the acoustic version of “Whataya Want From Me” immediately, as well as a limited-edition lithograph poster of the cover art. Acoustic Live! includes versions of five of Adam’s most popular tracks from his platinum selling debut album, For Your Entertainment, including “Whataya Want From Me” and “Music Again.”   It also includes an acoustic version of “Mad World,” which Adam first famously performed on American Idol. PRESENTERS ANNOUNCED FOR AMAS

Christina Milian, Jessica Alba, John Legend and Lady Antebellum have been added to the list of presenters at the 2010 American Music Awards. That’s not all though! Mandy Moore, Natasha Bedingfield, Nicki Minaj and Ryan Seacrest, as well as Samuel L. Jackson, Sheryl Crow, Taio Cruz, Willow Smith and many others will also present at the annual event.   The show will feature performances from Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Kid Rock, Justin Bieber as well as Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi and P!nk, Usher, Backstreet Boys & New Kids on the Block, Ne-Yo and more.   The event will broadcast live from L-A, Sunday at 8 PM Eastern on ABC.

JESSE McCARTNEY MOVES UP HAVE IT ALL

Jesse McCartney has moved up the release of his fourth album, Have It All.   The record, which was originally set to arrive in January, will now be released on December 28th.   Have It All features his new single “Shake,” as well as production from Sean Garrett, Kevin Rudolf and Ammo.  

AKON DEFENDS MJ SONG, DISAGREES WITH WILL.I.AM

According to TMZ, Akon doesn’t like what will.i.am has been saying about the new Michael Jackson records being released. Even though the Black Eyes Peas frontman feels that the icon is being disrespected, the Senegalese singer described his “Hold My Hand” duet with the King Of Pop as a “dream come true” that was “epic” and doesn’t “see anything disrespectful about it.” Akon added, “These albums would have come out if [MJ] was alive or dead so I think this helps to keep his legacy alive.”

NEW BLACK EYED PEAS SONG SURFACES!

Rap-Up.com reports a new song called “Do It Like This!”   from The Black Eyed Peas has just hit the Internet. The nearly six-minute long track incorporates hip hop, techno, pop and house music all at once. Will.i.am previously said of the song that it’s “harder than any attitude… It goes to a place no hip-hopper would go to right now.” Fans can expect unreleased material to drop every week leading up to the release of their upcoming effort, The Beginning, which arrives on November 30th! P!NK TWEETS WITH FAVORITE AUTHOR

Even world famous musicians can get star-struck once in a while.   Author Paulo Coelho, best known for penning the novel The Alchemist, wrote on Twitter that he was listening to P!nk’s new song, “Raise Your Glasses,” and the pop star got pretty excited about it.   P!nk wrote that she was extremely flattered that he would listen to her music, and that Coelho is her “favorite author.”   Follow P!nk at Twitter.com/Pink.

LEONA LEWIS TO RELEASE LIVE DVD

Leona Lewis is putting out a live concert DVD.   According to a press release, The Labyrinth Tour — Live From the O2 will be available on December 14th and features 20 tracks filmed at different performances from all over the U-K, including “Bleeding Love,” “Better in Time” and more.   The DVD will also come with a bonus CD featuring ten songs.   Learn more at LeonaLewisMusic.com.

Some of the biggest news worldwide yesterday was that Prince William and Kate Middleton became engaged, and Leona Lewis is thrilled about it.   The English singer wrote a “congratulations” on her Twitter page to the couple and asked the question “how cute are they?”

PAULINA RUBIO WELCOMES A BABY BOY

Paulina Rubio and her husband, Nicolas Vallejo, have just become proud parents of a baby boy named Andrea Nicolas Vallejo-Nagera Rubio.   He was born in Miami on Sunday at 9:12 AM, weighing in at 6.9-pound. Rubio’s manager released a statement that reads: “Paulina and Andrea, who are accompanied by their loved ones, are in perfect condition. The new parents greatly appreciate the support, good wishes and displays of affection they have received throughout this special time and kindly ask for privacy and consideration in order to facilitate Paulina and Andrea’s recovery.”

NICKI MINAJ WANTS AN OSCAR?

During a recent interview with DJ Drama, Nicki Minaj opened up on the next accolade she wants to add to her trophy collection. The BET Hip Hop Award-winning artist revealed that she’s not only hoping to receive a GRAMMY Award, but she also wants an Oscar in the near future. The rapper, who is yet to star in a feature film, explained, “We’re getting scripts. NEW DETAILS ON T.I.’S NO MERCY

We’ve just learned new information about T.I.’s upcoming No Mercy LP. RapRadar.com reports Grand Hustle artist Young Dro revealed that the incarcerated rap star collaborated with an impressive amount of artists including Eminem, Scarface, Chris Brown, Drake, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Rocko, Christina Aguilera and Trey Songz. The disc will be available in stores on December 7th. We wonder what happened to the rumored Lady Gaga guest feature?

SWIFT’S RULES FOR LIVING A HEALTHY LIFE

Taylor Swift, who recently graced the cover of WebMD Magazine, also shared with the publication her rules for healthy living. Living the rock-star lifestyle can take a toll on an artist, physically and mentally. Taylor said her tools for relaxation and comfort include candles and her iPod. Regardless of her busy schedule, she always squeezes in an hour-long run on a treadmill every day. She also says that she sticks to a healthy diet during the week, then splurges on her favorites when the weekend comes. Here are some of her other tips:

SWIFT DISCUSSES HUGE DONATION TO PARK

Taylor Swift donated 100-thousand dollars in August to Kids Kingdom, a playground in her hometown of Hendersonville, Tennessee that was damaged by flood waters in May. In the December issue of People Country, Taylor discussed why it was important for her to donate to that specific organization. She said, “When I was little, playing in the park was a huge part of my imagination. Now, swings are a good place to have a conversation. You’re distracted by swinging so you can open up more.” Taylor also donated 250-thousand dollars last December to Hendersonville schools and other schools she attended throughout the country.   The money bought books for students and funded educational programs.

T.I. STORYTELLER SPECIAL AIRS NEXT MONTH!

While T.I. continues to serve his 11-month sentence for violating the terms of his probation, the rapper’s recent showcase with Vh1 Storytellers is still scheduled to premiere soon. The Atlanta native taped the show months ago and got the chance to explain the inspirations behind his music in front of an intimate crowd in New York City. Viewers can expect Vh1 Storytellers: T.I. to air on Friday, December 10th at 11 PM Eastern.

LADY ANTEBELLUM HONORED IN HOMETOWN

Lady Antebellum played two sold-out shows on Monday in Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley’s hometown of Augusta, Georgia, where they were honored by the city. Before their performance, the trio received a key to the city and also had a street renamed “Lady Antebellum Way” in tribute to them. According to the Augusta Chronicle, the city also plans to honor the group by naming a new pavilion after them as well. Lady A donated money from Monday’s concerts to the Medical College of Georgia’s Children Medical Center. Dave and Charles also surprised three teachers from their high school with one-thousand dollar OfficeMax gift cards.

ADELE RELEASES A VIDEO WITH NEW SONG

We mentioned that Adele recently released her new song, “Rolling in the Deep,” the first single off of her forthcoming album, 21.   Well there is also a nice black-and-white video to go along with the tune that features footage taken of her in the studio.   Check it out now at Adele.tv.   21 is due out on February 22nd.

MICHAEL BUBLE WINS AN AWARD

Michael Buble has won an award.   According to the singer-songwriter’s official website, Michael took home the Gemini Award for Best Performance or Host in a Variety Program or Series for his concert special Michael Buble at the Concert Hall.   Learn more at MichaelBuble.com.

TAYLOR HAS A DATING “PHOBIA”

Taylor Swift’s possible relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal has led to a lot of talk recently, but if they are really dating, perhaps the actor should be careful.   Taylor discussed her thoughts on boyfriends in a recent interview with Allure magazine, saying that she has “a phobia about being in the wrong relationship.”   She added that as soon as she establishes that “it’s not the right one,” she gets out because she doesn’t want to “waste” the guy’s time.   Learn more at Allure.com.

A SHORT FILM FROM THE SCRIPT

PEOPLE ARE EXCITED FOR GAGA’S NEW ALBUM

WILL BEYONCE’S PARENTS DIVORCE?

According to TMZ, Beyonce’s parents, Mathew Knowles and Tina Knowles, were expected to finalize their divorce on Monday in Harris County, Texas. However, since neither of them appeared in court, it’s currently unknown if the couple has reconciled or not. Their pending divorce was initially due to allegations of Mathew fathering a child with his mistress, Alexsandra Wright. We’ll keep you posted!
