USHER’S VMA HISTORY
As we reported last week, Usher will take the stage to perform at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. This is not the first time the crooner has played the event. Usher took the stage with only a few dancers for his performance of “My Way.” In 2002, Usher took the VMA stage in New York City with Busta Rhymes and Pharrell to give Diddy some backup during his medley performance of “Bad Boy for Life,” “I Need a Girl (Part I & II)” and “Pass the Courvoisier.” Two years later in 2004, Ush took the stage in Miami to perform “Confessions,” before launching into “Yeah!,” featuring Ludacris and Lil Jon. Usher is up for three Moon Men at this year’s show for his “OMG” clip.
