WOMAN JUMPS ON STAGE WITH MAROON 5
It takes more than a stage-crasher to throw Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine off his game. At their show in New Jersey on Sunday night, a woman jumped up on stage and started dancing near Levine while he was performing “Wake Up Call.” He got startled briefly, but kept on singing while the lady was whisked away by security. CHER IS WORKING ON A NEW ALBUM
Cher is working on a new album. According to an interview with EW.com, the pop star said that it will be different than her hit 1998 record Believe because it will be less dance oriented and focus more on “real instruments, like guitars and stuff like that.” Cher made sure to note that it’s still in its very early stages and that she’s still taking “baby steps” while making it. An official release date has not yet been announced.

INFO ON BRITNEY’S NEW ALBUM
Britney Spears is in the studio working on a new album, and some information about the project has been revealed. According to Rhapsody, one producer that will be on the record is DJ Rusko from England, and he’s worked with Spears before. Rusko spoke about Spears choosing him to help with the album, explaining, “They could go to the regular people who make hit pop records if they wanted something straight, but the whole reason they came to me was because I make more weird music anyway, so I already have a license to be crazy with it.” Looks like Britney’s next album could be a little different than what we’ve heard from her in the past.
ADAM LEVINE’S CLOTHING LINE
Maroon 5 is out on tour, but that’s not stopping Adam Levine from launching his brand new clothing line this week in Las Vegas. According to CocoPerez.com, the line is a collaboration between Levine and his dad, and will feature pieces for both men and women. About his collection, Levine said that there won’t be any “bedazzling,” and that he likes “subtlety in design.” No word yet on when and where the clothes will be available for purchase.
MANDY MOORE TO RETURN TO GREY’S
Mandy Moore is returning to Grey’s Anatomy in the upcoming season. According to TVGuide.com, the singer-songwriter will be reprising her role as “Mary” from last year’s season finale. Look for her in the sixth episode.
USHER AND CHRIS BROWN TO GO ON TOUR?
After impressing crowds at Jamaica’s Reggae Sumfest, there are reports suggesting that Usher and Chris Brown are looking to embark on a joint tour. Producer Bryan-Michael Cox spilled the beans during Jermaine Dupri’s daily YouTube series, Living The Life. ICE T CLEARED OF ALL CHARGES
TMZ reports Ice T proved that he was insured when a New York police officer arrested him for allegedly driving without insurance. JA RULE TALKS POSSIBLE JAIL TIME
During an interview with Vibe magazine, Ja Rule discussed the reality that he may go to prison if he’s convicted on charges from a 2007 gun case. Jesse McCartney announced on Twitter that he’s nearly finished his forthcoming album. The pop singer tweeted the first single off the disc is called “Shake.” He wrote, “Ladies and Gentlemen- A Toast. I have officially completed my fourth solo album. To everyone who took part – I thank you.” Jesse added that the new offering will “be given to radio after Labor Day!” It’s unknown when he intends to release the untitled album.
T.I. DELAYS ALBUM AGAIN!
Seeming to take a page out of Dr Dre’s book, T.I. is not rushing the recording process for King Uncaged. In fact, Rap-Up.com reports the emcee has decided to push back the release date for the project for the third time now. He recently told us why it’s crucial to never put out music until its perfect (See Related Cut #4). The disc was supposed to arrive on August 17th, then September 28th and now fans will have to wait a little longer to the rapper’s first project since he was released from prison.

Fantasia Barrino was treated for a medication overdose at a North Carolina hospital last week after she consumed an entire bottle of sleeping pills. Now, Fanny is speaking up for the first time since her alleged suicide attempt. KELLY READIES TWO VERSIONS FOR NEXT ALBUM
According to ThatGrapeJuice.net, Kelly Rowland has decided to create two different versions of her yet-to-be-titled upcoming album. The former Destiny’s Child member has revealed that there will be an overseas edition as well as a U-S copy. According to Forbes, Jay-Z tops the Hip-Hop Cash Kings list of the wealthiest people in hip-hop after raking in an estimated 63-million dollars over the past 12 months. Interestingly enough, Jay made way less last year, when he earned 35-million. For the second consecutive year, Jay knocked out Diddy, who banked 30-million.
