CHRISTINA AGUIERA’S SINGLE IS OUT!

Christina Aguilera’s new single, “Not Myself Tonight,” is available for download at iTunes and other digital stores.   The upbeat dance song is off of Christina’s Bionic album, which will hit stores on June 8th.   It marks her first album since 2006’s Back To Basics.  

JUSTIN BIEBER TALKS TWITTER TRENDING TOPICS

Justin Bieber loves his fans.   He’s pretty open about his adoration for the people that made him the star he is today, launching him from YouTube sensation to household name and chart-topping megastar.   And the 16-year-old is particularly appreciative of their use of a certain social-networking site to keep him on top.   Bieber told MTV News, “My fans have made me a trending topic every day. 2010 TOYOTA CONCERT SERIES ON TODAY

We’ve just learned which artists are expected to play during this year’s Toyota Concert Series on Today. Performers for the star-studded series include Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Maxwell, Ke$ha, Enrique Iglesias, Keith Urban and many more. It all goes kicks off on Friday, May 14th outside Today’s Studio 1A, located at 49th Street and Rockefeller Plaza in New York City — spectators are encouraged! Here’s the schedule for which acts perform on what days:

FERGIE TALKS FRAGRANCE

Fergie is coming out with a signature fragrance, and the Black Eyed Peas lead singer insists that it will be “strong and empowering.”   Fergie told WWD.com that she didn’t want it to be “cutsey” by naming it one of her song titles like “Glamorous” or “Fergalicious,” and that she decided to call it Outspoken because the name represents her as a “whole woman, a fearless woman.”   The perfume will be out in September and will sell for 28-dollar a bottle.

FUNNY GAGA PARODY

There is a funny Lady Gaga “Telephone” parody at BarelyDigital.com.   The clip features someone playing Gaga and an unenthusiastic woman playing Beyonce.   It is a take on the duo’s popular, and somewhat controversial, video.   There is also behind the scenes footage on the site.

BOYLE WANTS TO DUET WITH GAGA

Could we see a duet between Susan Boyle and Lady Gaga?   Well if it was up to the former X Factor contestant that would most definitely be the case.   The Daily Star reports that Boyle called Gaga “wonderful” and “completely original” and that she would “love” to do a song with her.   No word from the pop star on if she’s also interested.

GAGA GOES TO A WEDDING

A couple in Australia’s wedding day became even more memorable after it had a guest appearance by Lady Gaga.   According to PerezHilton.com, the pop star was passing through as Aussie hotel when she was spotted by the bride, who asked if they could take a picture.   The bride and groom took some photos with Gaga, who reportedly ended up returning to the party later that night to buy the couple a round of drinks.   See a pic of Gaga with the happy couple at PerezHilton.com.

LEWIS AND HUDSON RECORD SONG FOR SEX AND THE CITY?

Could Leona Lewis and Jennifer Hudson have just made a song that will be the theme for Sex and the City 2?   According to British paper The Sun, the singers recorded a duet together, and a source says that it will be perfect for the forthcoming film because both have international appeal.   Hudson, of course, is no stranger to the franchise, as she had a role in the first movie, while Lewis is familiar with singing theme songs, since her tune “I See You” was used in James Cameron’s Avatar.

On June 8th, Green Day will come alive on video screens with the release of Green Day: Rock Band.   Fans of the Bay Area trio can now check out the band’s avatars for the game at RollingStone.com.   The game features 47 tracks from the group off of three albums: Dookie, American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown.

ARE KATY AND RUSSELL MOVING TO NYC?

Are Katy Perry and Russell Brand thinking of moving to the Big Apple?   A source told ContactMusic.com that the couple, who already have places in London and Los Angeles, were seen looking at an apartment in the East Village of New York City.   The source also said that they were “dressed like they hadn’t changed since going out the night before” and that Brand asked to use the bathroom.

PITBULL ANNOUNCES DATES CARNIVAL TOUR

Pitbull recently announced the dates for his highly anticipated Mr. Worldwide Carnival tour. Mr. 305 himself released a statement saying, “I can’t wait to show the world that music is the true universal language. It’s a great opportunity to show how powerful we can all be when we are united.” The rapper will kick off his outing on May 25th in Denver, Colorado. BONO ON HOW TO BE A GOOD FRONTMAN

NICKI RELEASES STATEMENT ABOUT RIHANNA TOUR

Nicki Minaj sets the record straight once and for all by explaining what made her drop out of Rihanna’s upcoming Last Girl On Earth tour.   The “Massive Attack” rapper said in a statement, “When I first heard about the possibility of touring with Rihanna, I was thrilled to be included on the ticket. I admire Rihanna as an artist and I know it would’ve been a killer line up.” Minaj added, “I’m disappointed that the timing won’t work, but I hope we’ll be able to revisit the opportunity in the future.” Fans can expect the fem-cee’s debut album as early as fall of this year.

CIARA GIVES NEW DETAILS ABOUT NEW PROJECT

During the Hollywood premiere of Death At A Funeral, Ciara spilled on the status of her upcoming fourth studio effort. Ci Ci revealed to MaximoTV.com that the name of the disc is Basic Instinct and it will tap into an “even more sensual side and [that’s] also confident and cocky.” The singer stated, “I got like such an attitude on this record, but in such a fun way.” The disc will be executive produced by The Dream and Tricky Stewart and it’s slated to drop later this year. Ciara’s new single, “Ride” featuring Ludacris, will premiere later this month.

GAME’S R.E.D. ALBUM COMING THIS JUNE!

MTV News reports Game’s long-awaited R.E.D. Album is slated to drop this summer. The project, which includes production contributions from Pharrell and Dr. Dre, is scheduled to hit stores on June 15th. In addition, the first two singles off the project are “It Must Be Me” and the Justin Timberlake-assisted record “Ain’t No Doubt About It.”

KELIS WINS BIG, NAS ORDERED TO PAY UP

TMZ reports an L.A. County Superior Court judge has ordered Nas to pay a large sum of money to his ex-wife, Kelis. The former couple has gone back and forth on a fair settlement, but it looks like the rapper has lost the battle. He is expect to pay over 47-thousand dollars in back child support, nearly 40-grand in spousal support and make 10-thousand dollar monthly payments for a 299-thousand dollar loan that he owes Kelis. In addition, the “Milkshake” singer’s attorney fees, which amount to 155-thousand and her 48-thousand dollar accounting expenses will all be covered by Nas.

STARS CELEBRATE QUINCY JONES WITH NEW ALBUM

GRAMMY Award-winning composer and producer Quincy Jones is set to release his new album, Q: Soul Bossa Nostra, with a star-studded line-up.   The project will feature new covers of Quincy’s timeless records.   Jones explained in a statement, “Each artist picked a song that really resonated with them for different reasons – some of them having a connection because they remembered their parents playing the track when they were growing up.” The album’s first single will be Akon’s version of 1977 Brothers Johnson classic “Strawberry Letter 23,” currently available on iTunes and Amazon.com.

DRAKE LINES UP NEW SINGLE, SHOOTS IN JAMAICA

According to Rap-Up.com, Drake is reportedly in Kingston, Jamaica shooting a video for the second single from his debut album, Thank Me Later. Just days after releasing the visual for “Over,” the rapper is now focusing on “Find Your Love.” While many have criticized the rapper’s lack of charisma in his music videos, director Anthony Mandler promises that this is something they are both working on.
