ADAM LAMBERT REMIX EP

Adam Lambert will release Remixes, a six track digital EP containing remixed version of the first two singles off his debut album For Your Entertainment. Remixes will be made available exclusively at AdamOfficial.com on Friday and at all other digital service providers on Tuesday.   The album contains mixes from Jason Nevins and Brad Walsh and also features “Voodoo,” a never before released Lambert track.  

TAYLOR PART OF TIME’S 100 LIST

Time Magazine is currently hosting a poll to find the top 100 most influential people in government, science, technology, and arts for 2010. Taylor Swift is currently seated at number-36 on the list, followed by other luminaries such as Lady Gaga, Oprah and Barack Obama.   The top rated influential icon will appear on the front cover of an upcoming issue of Time magazine.   Fans can still cast their vote until April 29th at Time.com.

CHEETAH GIRL GROWS UP WITH CONTROVERSIAL SONG

Former 3LW singer and Cheetah Girl Kiely Williams has released a new single called “Spectacular,” which surely will be controversial.   She also released a steamy video for the song, which is about a one night stand that she doesn’t remember.   On the track, Kiely sings, “Last I remember I was face down, ass up, clothes off, broke off, dozed off, even though I am not sure of his name he could get it again if he wanted because the sex was spectacular.”   A far cry from her Cheetah Girl image.   Williams is preparing her debut solo album, which should hit stores this year.   Learn more at KielysWorld.com.  

KATY PERRY SAYS SHE CAN BE INSECURE

Katy Perry may come off as outgoing and bubbly, but the pop star can have “moments of insecurity” just like anyone else.   The “I Kissed a Girl” singer spoke to More! magazine, saying that even though she comes across as confident, she can also be a “shy girl” too.   Perry also spoke a little about working on her new album, saying “it’s all going pretty well.”   Learn more at More.com.

RIHANNA HATES PRODUCT PLACEMENT IN VIDEOS

NME reports that Rihanna has a strong dislike towards advertising appearing in music videos. Despite Nokia sponsoring some of the singer’s recent concerts, Rihanna stated, “I don’t like things to be so commercial. I hate product placement in my videos. Videos should just tell the story of the song.” She added, “With product placement it becomes this big ad campaign. I just don’t like that. WHITNEY HOUSTON POSTPONES PARIS CONCERT

According to a statement issued by her camp, Whitney Houston needed to cancel a show last night in Paris due to medical reasons. Her rep explained, “Whitney is suffering from an upper respiratory infection and after a consultation with her doctors has been advised to postpone her performance.” Here’s the good news — the outing is expected to resume as scheduled in Manchester, England tomorrow and a new Paris date will be announced soon.

MADONNA BLOGS ABOUT MALAWI EXPERIENCE

Madonna is in Malawi to lay the first brick at the construction site for her new 15-million dollar school for girls, and the pop star decided to write on her blog so fans knew exactly how the experience made her feel.   Madge wrote that it was a “tremendous joy” to return to the African nation from where she adopted two children, and that she feels by educating the youth, they can “rebuild this community and raise this nation.”   She went on, saying that she knows that children “have the strength to save Malawi – they just need to be given the tools.”   Read the whole entry now at RaisingMalawi.com.        

OPEN FOR BON JOVI

DRAKE DELAYS ALBUM UNTIL JUNE

Fans will have to wait an additional twenty-one days until Drake finally blesses us with his debut album, Thank Me Later. Universal Motown confirmed Drizzy has moved the disc’s release from May 25th to June 15th because he’s still putting the finishing touches on his upcoming material. Meanwhile, the Young Money all-star performed a new song called “Fireworks” during the opener of his The Away From Home Tour on Monday night.   Head over to YouTube to watch the video now. AMY WINEHOUSE SPENDS BIG ON EASTER

Last Sunday was Easter, and apparently Amy Winehouse held back no expense while celebrating.   According to British paper The Sun, the embattled singer spent more then 15-hundred dollars on treats for her family for the holiday.   Learn more at NME.com.

LEONA LEWIS TALKS RELATIONSHIPS

Leona Lewis has been fortunate to have a successful long-term relationship with boyfriend Lou Al-Chama, even though it seems that many other stars’ romances are falling apart.   The pop star spoke to British paper The Daily Star about English singer Cheryl Cole’s failed marriage to soccer star Ashley Cole, saying that she “feels sorry” that Cheryl had to go through a public breakup, and that it’s exactly the reason that she’s kept her “personal life private.”

ANDRE 3000 COLLABS WITH BIG BOI AGAIN

While many fans are waiting for a new Outkast album, RapRadar.com has learned that Andre 3000 has laid some verses on Big Boi’s long-awaited solo album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. 3 Stacks reportedly appears on three songs from the effort and he also helped pick the Scott Storch-produced track, “Shutterbug,” as the lead single from the project. Be sure to look for Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty when it drops later this year via Def Ram Records.

B.O.B LEAKS “DON’T LET ME FALL”

Rap newcomer B.o.B. has decided to give his fans a taste of what to expect from his debut album, B.o.B Presents: The Adventures Of Bobby Ray. The “Nothing On You” emcee has unleashed a new song called “Don’t Let Me Fall,” which you can now download exclusively through iTunes. In addition, fans can also pre-order B.o.B Presents: The Adventures Of Bobby Ray and receive their copy before it hits stores on April 27th.

Rap-Up.com reports the song draws inspiration from the rapper’s favorite album, Coldplay’s A Rush of Blood to the Head.

TEAIRRA MARI: “THERE’S NO BEEF WITH RIHANNA”

Teairra Mari sat down with Bossip.com to address the rumors regarding an “alleged” beef with former label-mate, Rihanna. Many assumed that Def Jam dropped Mari in favor of the “Rude Boy” singer, but she holds no ill feelings toward Ri Ri and understands it was just politics. In related news, the former princess of Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records is currently promoting her new single, “Sponsor” featuring Gucci Mane and Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em — which has reached number 48 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart. DR DRE’S DETOX WILL ARRIVE LATER THIS YEAR!

During a CNBC interview to further promote his 350-dollar headphones, Dr Dre revealed more information about his much delayed Detox album. The rapper stated that fans can expect his new single, “Under Pressure” featuring Jay-Z, to premiere within the next two weeks and Detox will definitely drop before the end of the year. No release date was provided though so keep your fingers crossed!

JACOB THE JEWELER RELEASED FROM PRISON?

According to the New York Post, Jacob “The Jeweler” Arabov will serve the remainder of his two and a half year prison sentence in halfway house. The infamous jeweler, who’s worked with Notorious B.I.G, Diddy and Nas, was allegedly involved with laundering more than 270-million dollars for the Black Mafia Family, popularly known as BMF. In addition to leaving jail early, Jacob reportedly shaved seven months off his time for good behavior while he was incarcerated. He’s expected to be released from the halfway house this September.

MARK McGRATH IS EXPECTING TWINS

2010 is barely a third over and it’s already been a very full year for Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath.   According to People.com, the singer got engaged to longtime girlfriend Carin on New Year’s Eve, and it was just announced yesterday that the couple are expecting twins, a boy and girl.   McGrath told People that they are “so excited” and that the whole experience thus far has been “surreal.”

GREEN DAY ROCKS BROADWAY TO AIR ON MTV

On April 16th, Green Day Rocks Broadway, a behind-the-scenes special about the band’s new American Idiot musical, will air on MTV. The play opens in New York on Broadway four days later. According to Billboard.com, G.O.O.D. Music artist Big Sean revealed that Kanye West’s upcoming album is titled Good Ass Job and it’s expected to arrive sooner than you think. Everyone knows by now that Soundgarden, Green Day and Lady Gaga are set to headline Lollapalooza alongside the likes of The Strokes, Arcade Fire and Phoenix. But the line-up doesn’t stop there. R.E.M. CELEBRATE 30 YEARS

30 years ago this week, R.E.M. played their very first show. A University of Georgia radio station also honored the Atlanta band by playing R.E.M. tracks all day long on Tuesday. Congrats!

A FREE NYC CONCERT FOR A GOOD CAUSE
