LADY GAGA, BEYONCE VIDEO DEBUTS ON MONDAY!

According to GagaDaily.com, the video for Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” single with Beyonce will premiere next week! In fact, fans can expect the long-awaited clip to be released on Monday. More details about the premiere will be revealed on LadyGaga.com soon.

IS GAGA CELIBATE?

Lady Gaga has done a pretty effective job at keeping her personal life out of the tabloids — but perhaps that’s because she doesn’t really have one.   The “Bad Romance” singer spoke at an event in London on Monday, and The Mirror reports that Gaga said that even she “can be celibate” and that “you don’t have to have sex to be loved.”

LADY GAGA HAS AN IMAGE TO UPHOLD

Lady Gaga will do just about anything to keep up her image.   The pop star told U-K talk show host Jonathan Ross that she will never be caught off guard by the paparazzi, and that she would “rather die” than have her fans see her not at her best.   Gaga went on, saying, “You see legendary people taking out their trash, I think it’s destroying show-business.”

RIHANNA BEING SUED

According to TheSingersRoom.com, Rihanna is being sued by fitness trainer Cindy Percival.   Last week, Percival filed a suit claiming Rihanna failed to pay just over 26-thousand dollars.   The trainer was hired to personally train the “Hard” singer but never received payment for work completed in September and October of 2009.

SADE TOPS BILLBOARD ALBUM CHART FOR THIRD WEEK

Sade’s Soldier of Love retains the top slot on the Billboard album chart for a third straight week. The record sold another 127-thousand copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan figures. Lady Antebellum host the number two spot for the third straight week as well, shifting another 118-thousand copies and bringing their four week total to a staggering 1.1-million copies.   The late Johnny Cash’s American VI: Ain’t No Grave debuts at number three with 54-thousand copies. It marks the final installment in his American Recordings series with producer Rick Rubin. The Black Eyed Peas’ The E.N.D. slips one spot to number four, Lady Gaga’s The Fame is also down one to number five and Lil Wayne’s Rebirth falls one position to number six.   Ke$ha’s Animal climbs seven spots to number seven, Susan Boyle’s I Dreamed a Dream drops two slots to number eight, Taylor Swift’s Fearless climbs one to number nine and Justin Bieber’s My World returns to the top 10 for the first time since January, as it rises two slots to number 10.  

AMERICA’S BEST DANCE CREW GOES GAGA

MTV’s dance competition Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew — will go “Gaga” tonight as the music and fashion of ten-times platinum megastar Lady Gaga take over the stage and serve as the episode’s crew challenge. The remaining seven crews will dance to Gaga’s hits like “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” “Bad Romance,” “Paparazzi” and more.   The dancers have to incorporate Gaga’s flair for show-stopping live performance and innovative fashion into their choreographed routines. The Gaga episode of Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew airs tonight at 10 Eastern on MTV.

SLASH, SHAKIRA & MORE GO DORA

Slash and Shakira along with Salma Hayek and John Leguizamo, will put their personal touches on special Dora the Explorer-themed backpacks for Nickelodeon.   A limited quantity of each backpack will be auctioned off globally, in countries including the United States, France, England, Mexico, Canada, Spain, The Netherlands, Greece, Australia, New Zealand and Israel.   All U-S proceeds will benefit the Children’s Defense Fund. All international proceeds will go toward childhood education in each respective country. Nickelodeon kicked off Dora the Explorer’s 10th anniversary yesterday by announcing the Beyond the Backpack campaign with Salma Hayek.

DAUGHTRY’S NOT DIGGING IDOL

LIFEHOUSE ON THE TONIGHT SHOW

Lifehouse will be performing their hit “Halfway Gone” on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this evening, making them only the fourth musical guest on the program since Leno took back the hosting position earlier this week.   The performance is especially interesting because the band also appeared on The Tonight Show just a few months ago, on one of the last shows with Conan O’Brien at the helm.   The Tonight Show airs at 11:35 PM Eastern on NBC.

ELLIOT YAMIN WANTS TO LEAVE CHILE

Elliot Yamin was in Chile when the devastating earthquake struck the South American country, and now, the former American Idol contestant is struggling to get home.   According to a press release, Yamin is trying to get back to the United States so he can perform on Sunday night to help raise money for the charity Children Uniting Nations.   Learn more about the organization and why Elliot wants to help at ChildrenUnitingNations.org.

MEL B COULD BE IN TROUBLE

Melanie Brown, better known as Scary Spice, could be in some real trouble.   According to EarthTime.org, Mel B. mistook real estate appraiser Amado Aguirre for a paparazzo when he was taking photos outside of her house.   Aguirre was hired to appraise a home in the Spice Girl’s neighborhood, and it is standard procedure to take pictures of the surrounding houses as well.   Brown saw him snapping pics and sent her husband out to try and take his camera from him.   During this process, Aguirre suffered “serious bodily injury” and is now suing the couple.   Read more at EarthTimes.org.

JASON MRAZ WANTS EQUALITY

Jason Mraz has always been open about his support for gay and lesbian equality, so the singer-songwriter decided to stop by the San Diego LGBT Community Center to learn about the programs and services that it provides.   PerezHilton.com reports that Mraz was also invited to Elton John’s Oscar party this weekend, and that he dreams of collaborating with the legendary musician on an “‘Ebony and Ivory’ of our times, for equality,” and hopes that John likes the idea.

ROB THOMAS’ WIFE GOES TO THE HOSPITAL

Rob Thomas went to see Jay Z at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday night, and seemed to have a great time.   But the night ended up with the singer-songwriter in the hospital, as his wife Mari “ate something she’s allergic to and went into shock.”   Seems that everything worked out though, as the matchbox twenty frontman posted pictures from the hospital on his Twitter account, which include him and a few friends drinking beers while waiting for Mari.   Rob did get serious for a little and wrote that “There are a lot of people here having a bad night. TRAIN KICK OFF U-S TOUR TONIGHT

Train’s U-S tour kicks off tonight in Ft. T.I. HAS A TWITTER BUT DOESN’T TWEET

We previously reported that T.I.’s Twitter account was made by an imposter, however, Atlantic Records confirms that the page is real. T.I.’s girlfriend, Tiny, was technically right about Tip not using social networks, because the tweets will be posted from someone other than the rap star himself. His spokesman explained, “He’s not into Twitter, but it’s what we use to alert people.” Here’s the first official announcement from Tip’s account: “Major announcement coming Monday 3/8 @ 5 PM EST on TrapMuzik.com.”

J-KWON RAPPER REPORTED MISSING

Do you remember the rapper who created the uber-catchy “Tipsy” song? Well, it turns out J-Kwon has reportedly been missing for over a month, according to SingersRoom.com. Tony Bucher, the CEO of the emcee’s label home, Gracie Productions, said in a statement that they’ve all become “increasingly worried and want to make sure he is ok.” Bucher added, “If anyone has seen J-Kwon or has access to him, please let him know we are worried about him, and to please let us know everything is ok.” If you know of J-Kwon’s whereabouts please visit Twitter.com/WhereIsJKwon.

KEYSHIA COLE WELCOMES NEW BABY!

According to Monica’s Twitter account, her best friend, Keyshia Cole, has become a mother of a healthy baby boy. We’ve learned Cole reportedly went into labor late Tuesday afternoon and delivered her first child. In addition, Monica revealed Keyshia has name the baby after his father, Daniel Gibson, who plays for the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers. Congrats!

B.O.B. MAKES mtvU’S FRESHMEN 5 LIST

We’ve just learned which five emerging artists have landed on mtvU’s Freshman 5 roster. This semester, up and coming acts include B.o.B, Surfer Blood, Two Door Cinema Club, Anarbor and Mayer Hawthorne. That’s right, the “Nothin’ On You” rapper is leading the pack and he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves. Be sure to get the emcee’s upcoming debut album, The Adventures of Bobby Ray, this spring.

LIL WAYNE STARS IN STEAMY NIVEA VIDEO

Even though Lil Wayne was busy shooting several music videos before he heads to prison, the emcee was kind enough to star in Nivea’s buzz single, “Love Hurts.” After receiving just two days notice to appear in the clip, Weezy agreed to play the singer’s love interest. In real life, the rapper is the father of Nivea’s three-month-old son. Check it out on YouTube now.

ESTELLE GETS CONTROVERSY OVER “FREAK” VIDEO

MTV.com reports Estelle has finally released the video to her lead single, “Freak” featuring Kardinal Offishall, only to be accused of using “blackface” in the clip. The U-K singer commented on the controversy, stating, “I think they need to wait to see the clip. I could defend myself, but it’s just silly. I’m black, so how do I do blackface?” Estelle added, “Missy did the same thing [with her video] ‘She’s a Bitch.’ I refuse to defend it, I didn’t put any white ring around my mouth – never that.” “Freak” is the lead offering from her upcoming album, All Of Me, which will hit stores later this year.

LIL MO, MICHELLE WILLIAMS ON HAITI TRIBUTE SONG

According to SingersRoom.com, Michelle Williams and Lil Mo have been tapped to record a song that will benefit the Haitian relief efforts. Are The Osbournes working on a new television show?   World Entertainment News Network reports Ozzy’s wife, Sharon, and daughter, Kelly, will be featured in a new series that deals with troubled families.   Sharon said it’s called Osbourne Family Values and in it, she and Kelly talk with mothers and daughters who are having problems.   WENN also reports the Osbournes are getting an animated cartoon show which will be told from the perspective of their bulldog, Lola.

DON’T MESS WITH SHARON OSBOURNE’S KIDS

Sharon Osbourne can handle it if people make fun of her husband, Ozzy, but don’t dis their kids.   Sharon, who is still upset over past insults about her children, told the New York Daily News, “It was so hurtful what they said about Kelly and Jack, about the way they look.   We’re Sharon and Ozzy: I’m half a Jew, he’s a little bloke from Birmingham.   We’re not going to produce six-foot-tall, blond stunners.”   Read more at NYDailyNews.com.

EVANESCENCE HAVE UNUSUAL INFLUENCES FOR NEW ALBUM

Evanescence announced earlier this week that they’re in the studio working on their third album with producer Steve Lillywhite. Singer Amy Lee told Rolling Stone that the new disc is going to be a mix of “sarcastic aggression” and “distant electro influence.”   She explained groups like Depeche Mode, Portishead and even La Roux and MGMT have been influencing the band lately. Lee is co-writing this album with a new collaborator named Will Hunt. This is Evanescence’s first record since 2006’s The Open Door.

BRUCE WILLIS CHASES GORILLAZ

Fans who are yet to check out Gorillaz’s video for their new single “Stylo” should get on the case. The clip features Bruce Willis as an assassin in a high-speed chase after the band’s animated alter egos. Fans can view the “Stylo” clip now on YouTube. “Stylo” is off Gorillaz’s highly anticipated Plastic Beach album, which drops on Tuesday.

BLAKE WANTS AMY TO GO TO REHAB

Blake Fielder-Civil has allegedly set down some firm ground-rules when it comes to getting remarried to Amy Winehouse.   British paper The Sun reports that Blake said there will be no reconciliation between the pair until Winehouse goes to rehab for her alcohol addiction.   The duo was spotted kissing in North London earlier in the week.

GURU ISSUES A STATEMENT

We previously reported Gang Starr’s Guru underwent surgery for complications stemming from his recent heart attack. Well it looks like the rapper is recovering very well and he issued the following statement: “I am doing fine and I am recovering! I’m weak though. [Guru’s business partner] Solar is the only person who has the accurate info on my situation. Any info from anybody else is false!
