Guitar legend Joe Becker will release his sophmore effort Hot As Love November 24th 2009. The album was recorded at his home studio White Room Studios in Chicago, IL . Hot As Love is Becker’s 2nd solo project and 11th recorded release.
Becker is widely known for both his guitar playing techniques and multi-instrumental capabilities, playing all instruments with the exception of drums. But his fans have become inextricably drawn to his pop melodies. The continued evolution of his craft is made apparent in the musicianship presented in Hot As Love.
The 45 minute set contains several new tracks as well as covers of the Chi-Lites, “Oh Girl, The Commodores, “Nightshift”, Marmalade’s, “Reflections Of My Life” and Delbert McClinton’s, “B-movie Box Car Blues”.
The addition of appearances by virtuoso guitarist Todd Duane (Guitar — Shrapnel Records recording artist) and Joe Kelley (Guitar — of Shadows Of Knight, “Gloria” fame) add a dazzling dimension to Becker’s compositions.
