MILEY STALKER UPDATE

Mark McLeod may not have been charged with stalking Miley Cyrus, but he’s not off scot-free.   According to PerezHilton.com, McLeod pleaded guilty to “obstruction of police and disorderly conduct.”   The 53-year-old got two years of probation, has to go to mental health treatment, and cannot use a computer during that time.

GAGA ON ALEXA CHUNG

MTV’s It’s On with Alexa Chung is going to have one of the biggest artists in the world on the show tomorrow.   Lady Gaga is all set to be the musical act!   Be sure to tune in tomorrow at 3:30 PM Eastern on MTV.

Britney Spears has just released the video for her newest single, “3.”   It features the pop star dancing around in a bunch of different outfits and it can be seen now at PerezHilton.com.

OWL CITY FEELS “UNDESERVING” OF NUMBER ONE

Owl City completed an improbable run up the charts this week as his “Fireflies” went to the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100. In an interview with MTV News, the singer, Adam Young, admits even he can’t believe it.   He said, “I’m a silly shy boy from the middle of nowhere…I’m a total nobody. I spill coffee all over myself. I am so undeserving.”   Just six months ago, Owl City was recording music in his parent’s basement.

RIHANNA ENLISTS JEEZY, THE DREAM ON RATED R

In addition to working with Ne-Yo on her lead single “Russian Roulette,” Rihanna has recruited Young Jeezy and The Dream on her upcoming Rated R album. The Radio Killah told MTV.com that Ri Ri has just completed a record with him called “Rock Star” and another track titled “Hard” with the Snowman.   Dream revealed “both of those records are pretty insane.” Fans should expect Rated R to drop on November 23rd.

KID CUDI TALKS SOPHOMORE ALBUM

It’s only been a month since Kid Cudi released his debut Man on The Moon: End Of The Day album, however he’s already looking to his next LP. The “Make Her Say” emcee told MTV News that he wants his sophomore effort to include artists that truly inspire him. Cudi explained he has already reached out to Snoop Dogg and Travis Barker to make a compilation album that will be titled Cudder. Head over to MTV.com to hear the full interview.

LIL WAYNE COVER’S BILLBOARD MAGAZINE

Lil Wayne is on the cover of the newest Billboard and in the magazine, he goes into full detail about his upcoming Rebirth album. Weezy revealed that the project has “a lot of rock influences and rock beats” that will come as a double disc. Wayne assures his fans that they will be pleasantly surprised by the new material. DRAKE SPEAKS ON LIL WAYNE’S GUN CASE

Drake told Rap-Up.com how he feels about Lil Wayne’s impending prison sentence stemming from gun possession charges. Drizzy knows that his mentor is looking at a year behind bars, however Weezy is in “good spirits.” The newly signed Young Money artist also revealed that Wayne is “more concerned about getting as much music as he possibly can, so that when he’s in there, people are still satisfied musically with Lil Wayne product.” The rap star is expected to start serving his one-year sentence in February 2010.

If Lil Wayne behaves while incarcerated, his time in prison could be reduced to eight to ten months.

HEAR ADAM LAMBERT’S SINGLE

ARE PCD OFFICIALLY FINISHED?

Are the Pusscay Dolls officially finished?   According to PerezHilton.com, original member Kimberly Wyatt said in an interview that there are no plans for a new album and that PCD will “always be around,” but it just might not be the same girls.   Apparently, Wyatt, along with most of the original Dolls, is working on her “own thing.”

LEONA LEWIS SPEAKS ABOUT HER ATTACK

Leona Lewis has spoken out about getting attacked while at a book signing early last month and surprisingly, she was pretty nonchalant about it.   According to British paper The Sun, the “Bleeding Love” singer said that “it could have been worse” and that she’s “still alive.”

KINGSTON ROSSDALE LOVES MUSIC

Kingston, the son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, is ready to follow in his parents’ footsteps.   The former Bush frontman told PopEater.com, “At the last benefit we were at, he wanted to get on stage with me and sing.   I told him we can, but we have to practice a bit first.”   Rossdale told us a little while back that three-year-old Kingston has a particular fondness for the drums

CHILI PEPPERS TO RELEASE ALBUM THIS TIME NEXT YEAR?

The Red Hot Chili Peppers may have a new album out as early as next year. Drummer Chad Smith told ClashMusic.com that they are going to write music for “a while” but hope to have the follow-up to Stadium Arcadium out by this time next year. As for details about the direction the music is going, Chad revealed, “We’ve got songs with piano on them right now, so who knows.”

CHESTER BENNINGTON BALANCE

Now that Chester Bennington is writing songs for two bands — Linkin Park and his new Dead By Sunrise side project — how does he know which songs belong where? He told MTV News, “I can’t kind of tell like which songs are a little too grungy, a little too punk-driven for Linkin Park.” Bennington’s Dead By Sunrise released their debut album, Out of Ashes, last month and the singer just revealed that he is currently working on a new Linkin Park album.

DANNII MINOGUE TALKS ABOUT KYLIE’S CANCER

Kylie Minogue’s sister Dannii spoke to British Web site Mirror.co.uk about when her pop star sibling was diagnosed with cancer.   The X-Factor judge said that when she found out her sister was sick, all she “wanted to do was get inside the door and…hug her and it was like trying to get through these barriers…because everybody loves Kylie.”   She went on to say that she never thought that Kylie would succumb to the disease.
