MTV News reports Irv Gotti spoke openly about Vibe calling Eminem the number one rapper. Irv said the article pissed him off, even though Em is a “great artist,” Gotti stated Jay-Z “makes real records. Every one of Eminem’s first singles is some clown s**t. He’s clowning.” In Gotti’s eyes, Slim Shady doesn’t deserve to be listed at number one and he’d give the title to Lil Wayne or Jay-Z any day.
