TMZ.com reports Akon spoke at a gun forum on Friday to students in Poughkeepsie, New York about the seriousness of gun related crimes. Akon even spoke openly about the unfortunate death of his protégé Dolla who was fatally shot in Los Angeles last week.
The singer explains that Dolla’s death was “a senseless crime” adding that he was a “great kid and didn’t deserve it.”
