Blood Sister is back with their heady brand of blown-out rippers. Ezana Edwards, formerly of Brooklyn act Night Manager, relocated to San Francisco after the band parted ways and initially started jamming with members of Bay Area mainstays such as Ganglians, The Mallard, and Warm Soda for early Blood Sister shows.

NEW SINGLE BY SLOAN

NEW EP BY 2FOUR

2Four, represented by Juggernaut 24 Entertainment, has never been one to rest long enough to get comfortable in a particular sound. This time around, he has found a lucrative alliance in artist Jim Giordano, aka DJ Majestik. Over the past few months the two have shared both the stage, including their first ever performance together at Opry Mills Mall in Nashville this past March, and the recording studio. What has come out of their collaboration is a four-song EP, Intergalactic. The project was recorded and engineered entirely by Sidney “Super” Nelson in Nashville, TN, 2Four’s hometown.

Juggernaut Entertainment will be issuing a pre-release this Monday, August 18, 2014, one month prior to its official release date, Monday, September 22, 2014. The lead single is the EP’s title track, followed by Lockdown. Both singles are scheduled to have accompanying music videos.

YELAWOLF SET TO HIT THE ROAD

Alabama-born hip-hop artist Yelawolf (real name: Michael Wayne Atha) is about to hit the road on The.Slumerican.Made.Tour, with opening acts Rittz, Big Henry and DJ Klever, starting October 22 at Birmingham, AL’s Iron City, and running through December 21 at Nashville, TN’s Marathon Music Works, with dates scheduled for Los Angeles (House of Blues, Nov. 8) and New York (the Gramercy Theater, Dec. 16).
