With intentions to keep his international classroom of music fans interested and engaged during the upcoming heatwave, “Legend In The Coupe,” the debut track, hits on June 14 and is a banger for the books! Follow up song assignments for the first four weeks include “Pure Highbury” on June 21, “Charge It to the Game” on June 28 and “Don’t Trust You” on July 15.

Dutch instrumental/technical metal trio GORE reunited last year, and earlier this year released their Revanche LP – a completely reworked, re-envisioned, and repackaged version of the band’s 1992-released Lifelong Deadline album. The record was released in conjunction with the band’s first live performances since the 1990s, with a tour which included performances at the label’s 20th Anniversary celebration and events, including a set at Roadburn.

Wade Bowen Releases Mental Health Documentary ‘Inconsistent Chaos’
Today, Wade Bowen releases “Inconsistent Chaos,” a documentary short film about mental health. In a conversation with MusiCares, Bowen chronicles his struggles with vocal chord issues that left him unsure if he would be able to sing again and the death of his nephew and crew member Chase Everett Cavender, who died by suicide on Father’s Day 2018.

“Mountain of Dreams” explores the nature of journeys — of both physical and mental realms. Beyond the intro’s wave of electronic energy, a gentle piano arpeggio permeates alongside sounds of nature. A haunting symphonic presence arises around 01:40, casting an emotional and cinematic feeling on the track before a rousing final minute, where strings and electronics converge.

Music industry icons turned feature filmmakers, Bryan “Birdman” Williams of Cash Money Films and Benny Boom of Groundwurk Studios are teaming as executive producers on Solomon Onita, Jr.’s Nigerian immigrant drama, Tazmanian Devil.
Boom’s Groundwurk Studios and Williams’ Cash Money Films are providing the necessary financing to market and distribute the indie. Principal photography wrapped earlier in the year and currently the film is in post production.
