Lo-Pan Releases New Song + Video “Ten Days”
Respected hard rock band Lo-Pan will release its new LP, ‘Subtle’, on May 17 via Aqualamb Records. The Ohio group, known for its dichotomic sound which merges sturm und drang heaviness with relentlessly catchy, AOR laden melody, recorded the new album at both NYC’s Reservoir and The Union studios with Grammy Award winning producer James Brown (Foo Fighters, Ghost, NIN). Lo-Pan’s fourth record, ‘Subtle’ was mastered by famed engineer Ted Jensen (Alice in Chains, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Mastodon) and is the highly anticipated follow-up to the unit’s 2017 release, ‘In Tensions’, a record hailed as “rock more akin for a day at the beach than a nightmarish, post-apocalyptic dungeon lair” (Last Rites).

Video: Comethazine – “Nonsense”
Bursting onto the scene with ferocious bite-sized bangers, Comethazine is the new generation’s most consistent source of slaps. Finding the perfect visual accompaniment for Comethazine’s chaotic and hard-hitting trap sound, the Alamo/Interscope signee shares “Nonsense,” his latest music video. Barely clocking-in at over 1 minute long, “Nonsense” is a frenzied banger, complete with carnival organ, plinking synths, and earth-shaking bass, as Comethazine delivers highly-energetic bars: “Bitch, miss me with that nonsense, you broke, got nine cents/I ball hard like Dennis Rodman, no lyin’.” In the video, Comethazine escapes an interaction with the police by transforming into a green, ghostly super villain, phasing through New York City streets to indulge in a hedonistic rendezvous with devilish models. With over 10 million streams on Spotify, “Nonsense” is a highlight from Bawskee 2, Comethazine’s recent album.

Looms sorts through “Dead Time” via Earmilk | New LP out 5/3
The track premiered via Earmilk where the band’s Sharif Mekawy detailed, “This album is mainly about navigating two different relationships I had with women, and ‘Dead Time’ started as a collaboration between myself and one of them. We were on my roof, and I started playing what ended up being the opening guitar riff. Inspired by some neglected planters next to us, she started singing “dead thyme” along with the guitar. It was a beautifully spontaneous moment, and I honestly thought it was going to be our first song together. When the relationship came to a sudden end, I retreated back to the roof for a month and finished writing the record. I changed thyme to time and wrote this song about the end of us.”
