It looks like David Banner can blame Samuel L. Jackson for his new found passion in acting. Afer teaming up with Sam for Black Snake Moan, the “Get Like Me” rapper told XXLMag.com that he spent his money on acting classes instead of bling-bling. Banner admits that he really enjoys diving into different roles and even spoke of his upcoming movie project. The Southern emcee is currently prepping for his latest flick, The Confidant, which is set to begin filming on May 13th in Los Angeles. In the movie, David plays a talented painter who takes the fall for a murder he didn’t commit and is now seeking revenge.
