03 Greedo Recruits Mustard For Still Summer In The Projects LP, Nabs YG For “Wasted”
Few rappers can combine athletic rhyming and off-kilter melody like Watts, California’s 03 Greedo. Returning for his first post-prison project, Greedo announces Still Summer In The Projects, executive produced by Mustard. Upgrading and refining the sound that dominated pop music, Mustard crafts fiery West Coast instrumentals, complementing his signature handclaps and hi-hat rolls with bouncy synths and liquid keys. Ever an unconventional emcee, Greedo approaches the beats from odd angles, sliding entrancing melodic lines squarely within the instrumental’s negative space.
