BISHOP BRIGGS SHARES MUSIC VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “BABY” TODAY!
“So beyond excited to share the BABY music video with you all! I was so lucky to work with the genius that is Malia James, who directed the video and made my vision a reality, Anja Slibar, who is one of the most incredible illustrators ever and the unbelievable SEED Animation, who made it all come to life! This was the first time I’ve ever done an animated video and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to do it with. This song is all about being free to be yourself so having the ability to use animation to help depict the crazy things going on in my mind is the ultimate dream. I hope you enjoy the magical places this video goes and let your mind run wild. Thank you in advance for watching!!!” – Bishop Briggs

David August Shares New Track “33CHANTS”
Speaking about “33CHANTS”, David elaborates: “I was reading Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’ during the time I was making the album. It’s like a spiritual path written in chants, where the sound of words sounded like music to me for the first time. It’s very melodic even though there’s no written melody. The lyrics are my attempt at a dialogue with Dante, while also leaving an open space to today. This is something present in the whole record; I constantly felt like I had one foot in the past and one in the present.”
