New Jersey-based rock/punk trio ZERO FOR CONDUCT is just over a week from releasing their new album, CTRL+Z, through Nefarious Industries.
Svbterranean is helping advance the record’s release by debuting the new single “Rollin’,” referring to the album as, “a pop-fueled rock record full of deceptive complexity, indie rock quirkiness, earworm hooks, and a bit of Touch And Go angularity. Fans of Dinosaur Jr., fIREHOSE, Hüsker Dü, and the like, will want to keep an eye out for it.”

FISTER: Debilitating Doom Merchants To Unleash No Spirit Within Full-Length
Missouri-based doom merchants FISTER will unleash the earth-rupturing fruits of their No Spirit Within full-length this spring via Listenable Records. Manifesting a sound so poisonous, polluted, and nihilistic that “sludge,” “doom,” “funeral,” and “death” are the only words close to suitable in description, the Midwestern outfit are overpowering and relentless at a city-leveling volume like a Sisyphean artillery brigade cursed to push two hundred tons of speaker cabinets uphill forever. No Spirit Within was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Gabe Usery at Encapsulated Studios in St. Louis and will be released via Listenable Records in Europe on April 17th followed by a US street date of May 18th.

Self-directed by Yungblud (otherwise known as Dominic Harrison), the video for “Polygraph Eyes” offers Harrison’s commentary on consent (“She slurs when she speaks/But you hear what you want when she can’t even talk”). “We’ve been brought up in a society where the lad mentality has just been accepted, and I think that’s something that needs to be talked about.”
Alt Rock Band VISTA Playing LAUNCH Music Conference
After an eventful 2017 for alternative rock outfit VISTA, the band has announced that they will be playing at April’s LAUNCH Music Conference. Their set will fall on the first day of the conference, April 12th, on the Lanc City Square York College stage at 8:15 PM. Since the completion of “The Oasis Tour” in November 2017, VISTA has been in the studio with ZK Productions (Mayday Parade, Set It Off, Chapel) working on new material. The production duo, made of Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount, previously produced lead vocalist Hope Vista’s final solo EP in 2015. Althogh no official release timeline has been announced, the band has hinted that no new music will be dropping until later on this year. In 2017, VISTA released their highly anticipated sophomore EP “Long Live,” featuring the lead single “Allegiance,” played at Irving Plaza, gained idobi rotation with their single “Henchmen,” and completed two headlining tours.

Tristan de Liège Announces “Kosame” LP
Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist Tristan de Liège announces the release of his latest downtempo album, “Kosame,” due on Emancipator’s imprint, Loci records, April 13. Titled after the Japanese word for “light rain”, “Kosame ” is inspired by the feelings of nostalgia, peacefulness, and transience that accompany rain. The LP’s second single “Jioni” released today, can be defined as electro-acoustic although it eludes a transient sense of peace and simplicity.
