Bibio is now sharing a new track from his album Phantom Brickworks out on November 3, 2017. He has this to say:
“The landscape is ever changing. There are many places that have been abandoned, only to become hidden among plant life, often making them more beautiful in the process. There were also some beautiful places, claimed by force and deliberately buried forever, never to be seen again. This track has always taken me to lost and overgrown places in my mind, but it was the submerged quality of the music that led me to one particular place.”
To coincide with the release of Phantom Brickworks, Bibio will premiere an immersive audio/visual installation based on the album at The Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, London on November 2nd, in collaboration with Rough Trade, We Are Robots and Warp Records. The installation will create a hypnotic hour-long experience in this stunning historical venue.
