Taken from the Melbourne artist/producer Woodes acclaimed debut self-titled EP, her newest single ‘Bonfire’ combined her love of percussion with a quirky enthralling melody – today she released the accompanying live video, just as magical as the track with an enthralling live performance from Woodes. The video shot at The Line, in Melbourne shows off the full live Woodes show just before her first US performances next week at SXSW in Austin, Texas. The incredible video which is driving in pace and light was all shot in clip by Melbourne’s Studio Aton and features Woodes wearing the incredible Oglia Loro Couture.
Woodes said “I’ve always loved watching live clips on youtube of all my favourite artists and throughout the years with different teams I’ve figured out how to create one of my own. In this clip I worked with Andy Hatton (Director) & took on the role of producer, in putting this clip together. I’m very thankful for my team – ‘I am John Fish’ on Lighting, Jono Steer on live mixing & recording, Nadine Muller on Makeup & Kristie Klein for styling me in Oglia Loro Couture. It was one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever worn. Bonfire is one of our favourite songs to perform as a band. I’m so proud of what we created as a team and am looking forward to bringing the live show to SXSW next week!”
